Have been vaping for about 5 weeks. Was using 510 attys - just received an SLB DSE901 atty and have been using the 901 for about 4 hours.

Is it just me or is the 901 easier to use?

Seems to give me more "warning" prior to a dry/burnt hit, have not flooded it, using a 510 to 901 adapter, using a vv device. TH/vapor production/flavor are very similiar to 510.

The 901 just seems more "forgiving". (510 & 901 devices @ same resistance).

Would welcome comments suggestions.

I found 901's were real nice, very flavorful and vapory, loved them until they just sucked. I may be a minority on that.

I found them extremely difficult to clean because it's hard to flow water or alcohol through the coil compartment or flow gunk out. This led to gunk building up on the coil despite me cleaning them. I was using them for dripping (on a sealed manual battery) and the excess liquid would drip out the hole in the side of the atty onto my fingers and clothing. I also tried the cartridges and found them inconsistent - first was great and the the others gave me endless problems, dumping juice which would get into the air gap to the whistle tip. In addition, the 901 attys I had gave no resistance when screwed on far enough and instead, the barrel rotated vs the threaded end and that ended up bringing some plastic armature in the coil compartment around to block the side air intake and that finished ruining the drag.

I had real SLB ones. If you have some other kind maybe they will be better. At the time I was also using any juice regardless of the amount of flavoring sediment it dumped. Now I only use clear no-sediment juices so an atty should stay cleaner now.
