That's what I do with them also Kirwin, but the mega ego cartos were really a pain to fill. I used to have to hammer that filler tube with nail just to get the darn things filled. They only lasted about 4 days before they started to taste yuk and impossible to clean. Glad those days are over, the best thing about them is their tip and plug assembly....lol. Where did you buy that case from? Looks like a Case Logic from the tag inside but I haven't seen one like that yet at any of the stores around here.

Walgreens... But they're getting difficult to find. Search for them in either the diabetic or canes/walker section of the store. They can still be purchased from Case Logic online at a premium price. Much cheaper at Walgreens for around 8 to 14 bucks.

Just tested my new KGO after about 8 hours of charging and i can say it works well. I get more vapor and the carto gets hotter. But the difference is not that big with my old Ego 1000 mah i must say. I would like to know this: During the charging the led was always green, does it stay green when its fully charged? Im gonna vape for 20 min now and then charge another hour right?
And after this when i vape it (almost) empty how long is normal charging time? Cuz the led isnt telling me anything.

Yep the light will be green on first charge, that is normal because they are mostly charged when you receive them. After the first charging routine and the 20 minute vape and charge again, you will get nice long battery life from these. Charging afterwards is usually 3 to 5 hours but I found it took longer the first several charges after the first and then charging time became shorter with each charge cycle. Have no idea why. I have the 1000 ego also and I think these are better quality with a longer period of nice strong hits even when the battery is diminishing down YMMV.

Thank u! I just put it back for another hour of charging. I now have my ego again i can notice a pretty big differnce now! The vape is much less and cooler. Maybe i was to fast with my reply.. Im very pleased with my purchase:)

edit: My Ego is boring now! I regret my last post before this! Today i was switching between 1.5 and 1.25 dc carto's all the time, so it was a bit messy. Now im back on the EGo 1000 and it sucks compared to the KGO:) No doubt about it.. i want my KGO back!

Just got shipping notification on the battery Brent's replacing under warranty.

Now I mailed him that battery on Monday and today is Wednesday - he couldn't have received the thing before today and turned it right back around. Stellar customer service if you ask me.

Thanks, Brent -

ps - we figgered out where that 18650 eGo came from. Go-Go USA sells them for $24.50 now without the battery.

monster eGo battery

We also found the manufacturer :)

How long should each of these batteries last before they need replacing?

I've got 3 in rotation, and they're all starting to seem a bit sluggish. Less than 3 months total, so an average of only 1 month full time usage each.

Have been exclusively using the 1.25ohm dual coils. Would love to hear from others using the same cartos.

Unfortunately I don't have any way of testing the battery output on these when fully charged. What would I need to buy to do that?

I think Brent sells those little screw on meters in the accessories link. They have digital read out that will tell you what the voltage is. You can also screw on a carto on the other end to see what it's reading under load. Nice little gadget to have around and under 15 bucks.

Nope. At least not that I can find on his accessories page. Any idea where else I can find one?

Can you confirm that these will work with the KGO? More than one review on the first page says they don't work with the EGo, and everyone else is reporting use with various others. (boxmods, roughstack etc)

Is it a connection issue? I know there are issues with that If so then maybe a shorty 510 to 510 extension will fix it.

Check it out - around 1:49 you'll see one being used with a KGO battery.

They don't work with genuwyne eGo batteries because the gadget needs about two seconds of voltage to display (you'll see that on the video) and a Joyetech battery uses a switching regulator - they cut on and off zillions of times a second :)
