OK its time to get one... I have been looking all over the place for the best deal on either the ego or the riva. But what is the story with this SLB Ego.. is it good or what. Also I really cant figure out who has the best price on one of these units in the usa.... I know Liberty flights had a great deal on the riva but they are all sold out and I dont want to wait. So What do you guys think??

I do not know what an SLB Ego is and am sure others will comment on. From what I found on the unit, it seems to be a branded EGO from the manufacturer. I can tell you that I love my Riva and use it nonstop daily. If I was ordering a unit as my first order, this would be the one. I have a shipment of Ego's on the at with1000 MAH batteries and then I will test one to see the difference. There are several compairasions on the site if you search in the top right hand corner of the site. There are reviews that list for the differences between the two.
Typically you will find the cost of each around $50 shipped, however, Liberty Flights did have a great sale. Mine came from VaporJunction and there is a 10% discount for new customers. The delivery time is really fast. Good luck

The manufacturers are mostly the same as far as quality. It will either work or it will be a useless paperweight. It may last a year or a day. My opinion is not to go with the cheapest, but to go with a retailer who will back up their product should it be a dud. I like Janty, Cignot, Litecig, Vaporkings, madvapes, Gator Vapor, and Clouds of vapor for retailers since they all have reputations for taking care of their customers. All of the suppliers in the suppliers section are monitored to make sure they do too.

The SLB Ego is actually a Riva....yes, it is confusing. Don't know why they are marketing this way. So for your info, the ego from Happysmokes and the Riva from Liberty Flights are both like the original Riva with the rubber button and the gold band instead of silver. Also they are painted, not the rubberized coating that comes off on the original Ego.

How do I know? Bought all of them and inquired with supplier. The box and paper inserts in these are all labelled Ego btw.

As if we weren't confused enough already, huh?

I just received my Riva from Liberty this AM. I went to the forum page and there was a bit of stir because people expecting Rivas had manuals in the box for eGo (myself included), but they are Rivas. I then posted the differences and that what I received was a Riva. Riva also has its name engraved on the battery near the connector. It's been quiet over there since I posted.

People should exercise patience and wait until they come back in stock at Liberty. At less than $33 shipped, this is the best buy on the internet via retailers.
