i have noticed since i started e-cigs(3 days ago)that i am sleeping better and feel refreshed with less hours than i needed before .is it just me under a placebo effect(thinking that e-cigs are better for my health),or others have noticed this as well???

I personally haven't experienced this myself, but I've always had a problem sleeping...someone posted a similar experience not too long ago...I found it interesting since nicotine is a stimulant and then thought about it a bit...For me, it would possibly make more sense because I vape inside...often in bed..lol...in the past, I would have to get up, walk downstairs, go outside, smoke my analog, and then come back upstairs, and get back in bed...a process that is sure to get my heart rate up again...SO, in my situation, lying in bed and vaping beats the hell out of going outside to smoke an analog and thus could possibly help me, at least in the falling to sleep process...just a thought.

Nope me not sleeping better. Too jacked up on my e ciggy to go to bed and that's at 11 mg TW cut in half to 5.5. LOL

HOWEVER........

I feel like a brand new person in the mornings now!!!!!!!!!! I wake up feeling so good instead of horrible when I was on ciggys. I REALLY notice a difference BIG TIME since getting off the nasty tobacco. Unreal.

This is a subject dear to my heart :)

I've had really bad "slow-to-sleep" insomnia for as long as I can remember... Would like awake in bed just wishing and hoping and praying that I would fall asleep and sometimes I couldn't until 5 or 6 in the morning, knowing I had to wake up in just a few hours (the alarm goes off at 8:30 am)...

Then, when I woke up, it was like running through mud trying to wake up... It was terrible... I would sleep through the alarm so many times, as if it were not even there...

Now, I get tired like a normal person and wake up like a normal person. Sounds normal and not at all exciting. For me, its amazing!!!

My BF says I sleep more soundly. Apparently, I used to snort and (gasp!) snore and wasn't sleeping deeply where as now, I don't make any weird noises and sleep deeply.

Amazing.

I noticed this just recently (60 days into vaping) I need a lot less sleep now, I can sleep for 6 hours and feel just fine...before I slept way to much or needed way to much sleep..If I laid down and let myself sleep without setting an alarm I would sleep for 8-11hours, Now I sleep only 6-8 hours with no alarm. I think everyone sleeps differently and ciggaretes does have an affect on our sleeping indeed but because of our different sleep habbits everyone is going to have a different experience, for me I have always took a very long time to fall asleep but when I do I am knocked out unconscious for the entire duration and usually for way to long, but after about a month into esmoking I noticed I am not completely out of it for so long and I can easily get up about 6 hours later feeling fine.

I have been vaping now for about a week, I smoke perhaps 1 to 4 analogs a day but I am finding that I need them WAY less.

I also found that I slept much better at night, and wake up earlier and more refreshed. Who knows.. might be something to it.

Also even as a smoker I could smell stuff a mile away.. now my sense of smell is even more improved.

I have been sleeping like a rock.

It's amazing, I am too. Normally I'll wake up at odd hours or very early, now I sleep like the dead and have issues actually waking up early like I used to. I feel good but a bit fatigued, I think it's my body purging all the crap chemicals from analogs and getting used to vaping?

I have been coughing a bit which is to be expected I guess!

My son used to tease me about snoring ~ got so bad I used to wake myself up from snoring so loudly! But that's all gone now. I fall asleep easily but now wake up slower.

Best thing tho is the dreams! I hadn't dreamt (or remembered dreaming) since I was a kid. :( Now I get some great ones every night. Maybe that's why it's so hard to wake up ~ I wanna go back to the dream?
