Today, I was cleaning one of my Totally Wicked clearomizers, and the rubber washer that sits at the top between where the mettle meets the plastic popped out of place. Not the ring that goes on the mouthpiece, but the one that adds a bit of resistance when inserting the mouthpiece into the clearomizer itself.

The top mettle ring doesn't detach from the plastic, and there is seemingly no way to get it back into place. I've since used it with no issues / leakage thus far. I'm just wondering, what is the initial purpose of this washer, and should I expect any issues vaping without it?

If anyone does have any tips to get it back to its original place, that would also be great.

Thanks for the help.

Hi corvel. It would help if you could post more info on the problem. A link to TW's product page for the clearomizer and a picture of the washer and clearo that came apart would be good.

I actually caught a second one of my clearomizers in the process of coming apart the same way. As you'll see pictured below, the ring is slipping loose with no known way to put it back in place. To this point I've just been removing them, and continuing to use with no noticeable issues. Note this is not the ring on the mouthpiece itself, which can be seen to still be fully intact.

Product page as per request.

Apologies for the double post, as I did not see an edit function nor the ability to delete the post above this one available.

In happier news I just picked up an eVic. :2cool:
