After looking at other posts, and keeping my limited funds in mind, I'm now thinking about the Joye ego-t 1000mah tank kit at Good Prophets, rather than the one from Envy. Besides liquid and a second charger, is there anything else that I would need from the get-go? As far as the charger is concerned, I was looking at the site, and this is probably a level of newness on my part, but what type of charger for a 1000mah battery do I actually need? Also, in the ego-t, does PG or VG work better? Thank you for any suggestions and input.

If you can find your attys at a bulk price do it, i buy 25 joye 510 attys at 5$ each, last me the year pretty much.
as for the charger, you don't need a special charger for mAh rating, you just need a charger that is made to charge what ever battery you're using. for example, i use aw imr 18650 battery, they are 1600mAh, but i dont pick my charger on the mAh part, i just picked a charger that said it could handle 18650 size.

If your looking at the kit it will come with the appropriate charger. However it's always advisable to get a back up since they can go bad.

A mix of PG/VG is advisable, however the exact mix is very personal. I use between 70/30-80/20 PG/VG.....

I think starting off, it's a fantastic kit. I used it to kick my 27 year habit. I would suggest 1 box of Boge 2.0 ohm cartos and a drip tip. The more options you have starting off the better.

BTW GoodPhropets is a great company to business with, you should be happy.

the egos are nice, they tend to work with alot of different types of cartos and such, but i will say that after awhile (if your like me) they just wont cut it anymore. i just picked up my first variable volt mod at what i think is a great price. i personally would suggest anything that is variable voltage. it has yet to irritate me like all other batteries i have used so far.

Welcome!

The kit looks good, til you get the hang of it, I wouldn't recommend any type of mod at this point. Backup charger recommended, juice works best at a mix (I use 80/20) It's a nice unit and charges should last a while. I highly recommend Rob @ Good Prophets, quick shipments, good customer service! Last code I used was tvcfriend I think for 5% off.

I also recommend getting some different cartomizers (boge are good, some like dual coils etc.) and if you like the asthetics of the T-tank but want to use a atty or carto instead, you'll need to order a cone as it doesn't appear that it comes with the kit;

I'm hoping that this will get me to completely quit smoking analogs. I'm down to about 5-10 a day, which is considerably better than well over a pack a day (I think I was up to about a pack and a half a day). I know the Envy Nirvana has gotten me to this point so far, but I really need something that will last all day so I won't have to reach for a cigarette. :)

Best to try a few different vendors (ECF registered on the front pafe of the forum) and small sample sizes, as there's no telling what you may end up liking. There are loads of juice reviews, but something someone else might like won't suit you, 3-5 mL sizes allow you to try a range of flavors that sound good to you.

p.s. I used my original eGo 650 mah batteries over the past week for a plane trip, (5-hr flight time) to stealth vape on the plane, in my seat, under my sweatshirt, used as a blanket. :evil: They were still serviceable after 18 months, although I use other mods and batteries on a regular basis.

Glad to hear you found a new kit that will better serve your needs. Good Prophets has a great reputation for customer service and should take good care of you if any issues do arise.

As for juices, flavor is a very subjective thing. For tobacco inspired flavors Johnson Creek and Back Woods Brew have some great flavors. I always default to Ms. T's Bakery for my dessert flavors and have heard great things about The Vapor Room for a diverse flavor lineup, but haven't had a chance to try their juices yet. As others have mentioned order up a few sample packs from some of the different vendors to decide what flavors you like best. Don't be afraid to try a couple of flavors you may not think you would enjoy because you may miss out on something that really hits the spot for you. I was a straight camel smoker and despised menthol with a passion, but my go to vape now is a fruit menthol blend and I love it. Have fun and happy vaping!

I received my package last night. I opened it, and put the batteries on the charger right away. The first one, I used the actual charger, and the second, I figured out the pass-through part, and charged it that way. I also received the liquids. Granted, they were on clearance, so they were pretty cheap. But they range from pretty ok, to horrific. I need some better juices, but I can’t spend a whole lot of money. Do any of you have any suggestions?
