Slim's is not too Shady

You just gotta love Slim's... If this company had some sort of marketing common sense, they could be really making a killing.
We all know about the crappy website... But I just got an email about some promotion from them and while the body of the email is exactly what can be expected from Slim's in terms of design, you would think that somebody there would at least pay attention and make sure that the company's domain name is spelled correctly. Check it out:

Lol. Well, just look up their street address on Google maps and you will discover that they can't spell that one either.. McArthur, MacArthur. Tomato, Tomahto..

That said, there is a salesman in my company that never has less than $5 million in sales per year while the average for the other 30 sales people is about $2 million, yet he is the only one who is advised not to communicate with customers by email because it looks like a five year-old wrote it..

As long as the juice is good, I kinda enjoy the quirkiness. Makes it feel more small business.

Been sitting on my 'holiday flavor' cart for a couple of weeks now, so the new Slim's discounts gave me the nudge to finally order:

• Caramel Pumpkin Cheesecake
• Pumpkin Latte
• Pumpkin Pie
• Apple Butter
• Gingerbread Brew
• Gingerbread Custard
• Gingerbread
• Plum Apple Custard
• Apple Cheesecake
• Cinnamon Roll

I realized too late that I mistakenly ordered 2 bottles of the Apple Cheesecake. I toyed with just asking for a refund or credit for the error, but sent them a message with my likes/dislikes, suggesting that they could substitute it for a 'blow my mind' flavor (holiday or not), if that was simpler.

All are 'more VG', 10mg, 'heavy' flavor... We'll see what shakes out and if any do blow my freakin' mind.

I got my order yesterday. The flavor that they substituted for the Apple Cheesecake that I ordered too much of is Pumpkin Smash (which is pumpkin, marshmallow, and pumpkin spice). I originally had this in my cart, but deleted it to add other flavors to the order. Guess I was destined to try it, huh? It'd better be good.

As Mondays are what I call "Hell Day", I haven't even gotten around to even smelling them yet and they most certainly would need a little time to meld/steep, so will update when I've got around to them.

Oh, and BTW, Slim's didn't toss any samples in with this order like they have in the past. :::shrug:::
