I was gonna get a few different tanks but after seeing a video that showed the tank sliding up and down on the carto, I'm not so sure any more. So are there any that are 100% secure?

I know which video you are refering to, what I do to prevent that from happening as I use the Smoktech tanks, I just use a drip tip O ring on the outside top and snug it up against the top of the tank and it goes nowhere!! No I should not have to do that but it is a very cheap and effective fix! I can't bring myself to spend what they are asking for some of these tanks!

The only thing that might be fool proof is that Arry Tank (?).
It is assembled with an adapter in the bottom plug that a carto
screws into, and the rest of the tank is threaded together as well.

It is a UK product, but I think Stormy carries them now.

I do the same thing as KarmaKatie. I use an XL carto with a "short" tank.
It leaves part of the carto sticking out the top of tank. Not only does this
allow you to put an o-ring down over the tip of carto to snug up against
the top of the tank, it gives you something to grip besides the tank when
you are trying to screw it on your PV.

No "accidental" slipping with this method, and the Skoktech tanks are cheap.

The M1A1 Buzz tank at notcigs.com has a setscrew that tightens it onto the carto to lock it on. In fact I just ordered one yesterday. I'll let you know how it works when it gets here.

With that said I carry Smoktech DCT's around in my pocket all the time. It can come off, but there is quite a bit of resistance and it would have to also pop off my drip tip to come free. I use the 3.5 ml ones when I am carrying them around like this, there is less to get snagged up on anything, although I have occasionally used the 6ml ones as well. I am also aware of the thing in my pocket and keep that in mind when I am running around. I am sure once I get it, I'll use the Buzz tank all the time when I am out since it is a better option.

I ordered the mini sub tank from Momandpopsvaporshop saturday and it came today! Fast shipping! anyway, it has grommets just like the chibi, the difference is they add o-rings to the groves in the grommets and they also have a hole and screw in the tank for easy filling. I haven't tried it yet, I usually only keep one carto/tank going at a time so I'm waiting till the carto I am using now to peter out so I can change to a new one.. it's been going almost a week. As long as a carto performs to my satisfaction.. I use it!

The grommet type tanks, the chibi, does not slide around at all. I do keep mine in my purse and it hasn't leaked either. I wouldn't be too rough on it though.
