Slow going today?

So for a great, free forum experience I can wait through upgrades and maintenance (-:

I just upgraded from 6mbs DSL to 16mbs Cable. It's blindingly fast compared to the old DSL. VOIP test sites show that I'm getting rated speed with 10ms ping and 3ms jitter. I'm ready for the upgrade to be completed so that ECF is zip/zap fast.

Hardware upgrades can do just so much. I think we are loading the bandwidth down with personal picture and video link posts.

lol - first the mega threads, now pics and videos!

any picture of decent size is not hosted by ecf and that goes for all the videos

It seems worse than ever today.. I click something, *anything* here, and finally have to go look at facebook or something while I wait for something, ANYTHING, to happen.

I hope the forum isn't going to go down again like it did 23 days ago... I know the exact time because I was 5 days smoke-free that day, and I almost didn't make it, without my support group. Now I'm 28 days smoke-free, but I still need my support group!

As a supporting member, it's starting to really tick me off. Today the site is barely functional.

yup - speed has picked up but apparently at the cost of a much beloved feature
the auto-refresh when hitting the back button
