slow loading apr. 4 afternoon....

No error pages yet but I'm getting very slow loading pages in the afternoon here today.


eta.... not on every click though.... anyone else experiencing this?

FWIW this has been happening to me as well.

I thought it was on my end and was clearing cache, doing a speed test etc then saw this post.
Agreed it doesn't happen on every click, but enough to be frustrating.

Yes, it's been very slow me for me all afternoon, since around noonish. In the last little while, it may have gotten a bit better.

PS -- I just got a new computer that REALLY takes advantage of my blazing internet speed, and since I got it, ECF has been really lively to me, but today... not only is it not lively, but it's like I'm using an IBM XT at 2400 bps, nevermind the Pentium4 I used to have, or the i5 I have now.

I was noticing it late morning, early afternoon my time. Guess I didn't really have to do that virus scan.

Occasionally we get server problems or network distribution problems - especially with the CDN, the bit that serves static content.

As long as someone flags it up, it gets looked at, then fixed. It can be location-dependent (especially with CDN issues), so sometimes it can help to have a rough idea of where you are (State, or country if outside US, is enough).

That's why I reported it - perhaps something, if known, greater problems could be avoided. It hasn't happened in quite a while, so it was like a red flag to me at the time.
