Some things, yes, but mostly those coming from China, not US vendors. Which I kind of expect to take forever, although with a couple of things I have been pleasantly surprised...

Well I yet again made the mistake of pre ordering from FT, so there's that one. Since the holidays my orders have been coming in a timely manner. Shipping notifications are still spotty tho.
Well most of the recent( not including Amazon) stateside orders have been late, USPS, over seas have normal until customs
Just had my first parcel "intervened" by China Customs (with a resulting loss). That seemed to account in part tho for the slow transit in this case and spotty notification.
I'm wonderin whether I should even notify the shipper. First time in 4 years but I get that i'm pretty lucky that way. Had my first this year too that never even got to ChinaPost. It was promptly reshipped once I pointed it out a while back. What'a ya think?

They did just change battery shipping protocols, I had ordered my uncle a couple of 30w isticks and they were redirected. Disappeared from shipping and then showed up in the mailbox today. China prices = China rules for good or bad.
Definite write off for me then. Sometimes you just have to shake your head and smile. then shrug it off.
Good point. The ship did contain a trademark that commonly ships with a batt/s. /shrug

Just had a small package take 8 days from California to reach my mailbox. Generally takes around half that time. UPS has been even worse. Ordered an item last month and saw that it was shipping from Waco. Sweet! sez I. Should be here tomorrow. WRONG! For some strange reason, it went NORTH to Dallas, then to Houston, THEN to me in San Antonio. Still scratching my head over that one.

You too huh! I thought I was nuts when I had one go to three diff reg dist centers across the country before getting to S FL in the run up to the holidays. It's been a craze season. Helped me redefine the words meaningless tracking updates. Of course the magic eraser disappears all these explorations from Informed Delivery when your missing suddenly appears at your doorstep. Meanwhile I've still got a bunch in the Origin Post is Preparing Shipment black hole. Hopefully this week things'll start to settle down enough for a brief window of purchase opportunity before the Chinese New Year gives us even more surprises.

My last 3 deliveries have been delayed 1-2 days and last one is going on 5 days now. So we will see tomorrow. Last week on time USPS deliveries but now tracking is whacked.
