Thats cool. That works if you have money and trying to build it. For an income stream that won;t work. Day trading is VERY difficult. i am up the past couple of months since doing it again, but it isn't easy. Honestly, without knowing as much as i know know, I doubt anyone could actually win. Well, they don't. 90% lose their money.

The difference with me is that I KNOW when i am right, and I know when i am wrong - and to exit. I also know what "could" happen that day - and why.

Actually, in the last 2 years, if I had invested personal money into my personal account and traded the same way as I have in my retirement account, I would have had a nice income stream. But I realize it isn't something I can depend on. That's why I quit daytrading in my personal account a few years ago.

Man I'm such a newb. So far i've only gotten juice from 3 places. None of them appear to be overwhelming favorites on the board, and i'm thrilled. I can't wait to try some of the higher end places i have learned about since finding ECF. But i have so much juice sitting around it will probably be 5 or 6 weeks till i really need to order again. LOL

I had 11 consecutive winning months at day trading and then lost it all back in a bit more than 2 months. Thats how day trading can be some times. The extremes can be absolutely nerve breaking.

Wow, that's still pretty good. The problem is that in the 2000 bubble days people won for years and literally had no clue what the hell they were doing. The market kept rising and bailed them out. once the market crashed they all realized they didn't know what they were doing and quit it. Just because you win does not mean, on any level, that you know what you are doing. It might, or very well may not.

Let me lastly say this and then no more market talk!!! lol. Before the so called flash crash... I was was going to lunch and told a co-worker " we are going down at least 500 today". he said why? i said... because there is nothing to stop the fall. it was down about 160 at that time... within 20 minutes it was down 1000.

This is why all this nonsense about the "cause" is complete nonsense. It happened because all the traders saw what i saw... and there were no buyers. period.

Question for ya, Buss:

Why is vaping causing my gums to be sore? I know for sure now that it's NOT a symptom of quitting smoking. When I vape constantly for a while using the 5V 510 passthrus I bought from Madvapes, my throat, gums, and roof of my mouth get pretty sore, like they're slowly burning and gradually burning more and more. When I vape using the eGo battery, my gums get sore. They heal a little bit when I'm sleeping but always get sore again after vaping constantly all day (or all night). I think the answer is I'm vaping way too much/too often. Whaddya think? If I take 2 or 3 drags every minute, is that too much vaping?

Since I already answered one 'stump the expert' question here, why not 2? I actually first noticed that symptom when I used the nic gum NRT to try and quit, and again with vaping, in both cases the nicotine is being passed more through the gums/mouth then through the lungs or the stomach... You might try switching to a lower nic juice, so less is absorbed at once (you didn't mention what mg you were using), or a higher nic juice to stop you from 'vaping way too much' (although my PV hardly ever leaves my hand and I'm on a higher nic juice then most)... With vaping you could also be dehydrating, so drinking more water (or w/e keeps you hydrated) would be a good idea...

Let me qualify this by saying: This is my opinion; I AM NOT A DOCTOR, FOR MEDICAL ADVISE, SEEK THE ADVISE OF A PROFESSIONAL! (just in case anyone was confused as to the difference between a doctors office and a forum)

And Bob, Deback earlier today said he vapes like 12 carto's a day. I vape far less than that and honestly i did not want to admit to vaping like 6 or 7 or whatever as I was beginning to think i needed serious help. I felt like... man i am out of control vaping...

I think this is likely the problem...but who knows. But 12 seems to be far high... maybe.

LOL, Bob. I never made any claim to being an expert. My only claim that night was boredom... ha. it also assisted newbs to know that there were actually people up at that crazy hour - and to ask questions if they had any. Much to my surprise... here they came.
heh...
Yeah, I was half joking with that. :)
I lie in bed here b4 I go to sleep and check the 'new posts' to see who's around, so, when I can, I try to jump in with w/e relevant info I might have picked up here or there, mostly here, on ECF, through the modders forums and browsing some of the others... I've been vaping about 7~8 months, started with a blu<standard 510<LR attys<higher nic = sweet spot for about 5~6 months, but then ALL my 510 batts died at once (I was carrying 4 +PCC to get through the day) and I couldn't replace them all, so I went back to analogs for about 3 weeks, looking into egos and rivas and mods, when I found ECF and the modders forum here, I found the answer I was looking for... I'm now using DIY liquid (waffle and ry4 right now) that I mix to 40~42mg in a LR 510 carto on a homemade 4aa boxmod...

I know, no big. I rarely take offense on anything. I did get riled a bit last night though when the mod fan boys were on my .... hard and i had 6 beers plus... ha ha. One simple point about mods being a niche product... and here they come... ha ha. Then i had to defend my point... and it went on and on and on...lol. Oh well.

I'm sure it's way too much, but I do switch cartos about every hour. I think I vape about 1/2mL per carto, so 6mL is about right, but that includes the Glycerin I add to my mixture at 20 to 25%.

Bob - Thanks for your help. It could be too much nicotine. Don't know yet. Currently, I'm vaping around 19mg. It was higher than that about a week ago (about 24mg), until I received some lower mg liquid on Saturday. I also mixed up some liquid that's around 15mg. I haven't noticed any difference in the pain level when vaping any of the different nic strengths. I've only noticed lesser pain when vaping with the eGo, compared to vaping with the 5V PTs.

Depends on how you mean, but by definition, I think everything e-cig is a niche product, smokers who don't wanna smoke anymore, but don't wanna or have already tried cold turkey or NRT... and then further niches of 'looks like a cig' 'looks similar too, but not like a cig' 'looks nothing like a cig' 'small/stealth' 'long lasting batt' 'etc...etc...'

Not trying to sound like a fan-boy, there are +/- to all the products out there, they each fit their own niche... For me, learning how simple they were and how cheap parts were vs finished products, modding made sense... Mind you, I got in to vaping and then modding both to 'save money' and have long since given up on that, my 'break-even in' banner would be insane, but I don't smoke anymore (with all the advantages that entails) and I have two new hobbies I really enjoy, vaping and modding.

Ok, well, hopefully you will find the right mix. It seems to me that if vaping that much the addiction is the "act" and lower nico should help. i am addicted to nico, the act, pretty much anything and everything related, lol. Sucks, but is what it is.

Well, my main original point on that was not to confuse the issue for newbs... nevermind... NOT going to get into this again, lol.

At any rate, even if you never break even you have something you like and you are off analogs. All is good. You are going to spend your money on a hobby anyhow, we all do.

And @ Deback, in all honesty i really am not sure how much I vape, so you certainly are not alone. i really have not wanted to count as I am a bit scared what the number may be, lol. I am 100% certain it is over 5. Other than that, I am not sure as i really have not wanted to know.

Vaping is like analogs in that respect. if someone says they vape 5 a day, you pretty much know they vape at least 7.

I was a bit relieved when you posted what you vaped... as it made me think... Yippie...I am NOT completely insanse!!! LOL. Well, I hope... ha ha. i thought that maybe 3 or 4 was the norm and way over 5 ... I was beginning to wonder if i was the only one on the planet like that... ha.

EDIT: I meant carto's...

That would point more toward a problem with the heat, since your 5V PT will produce more. You may want to play with your pg/vg levels a little too, some people are more sensitive to one or the other...

I generally vape about 5-8ml/day (of 40-42mg).... note: I am a heavy vaper, most people vape much less

Wow, that is far more than Deback, i think he said like 3ml a day. I guess it somewhat depends on the device you use. You are a modder, so easier to use the juice, i presume. never had one, not sure, but seems logical. i know if i ever use the LR atomizer I have i can go though juice - in a hurry.

it also seems logical that you will use more juice with high volts with a mod as you vape more into the air....maybe not, but seems logical.

Anyhow, i need to get my behind to bed. Later Bob.
