Placed an order on the 25th of this month, a few days ago and got an email notification that it had shipped. madvapes is about 150 miles from me, so I figured it would only take a day or two. Since this is my first order, I was wondering what other people's experience with shipping time was. BTW, I upgraded to USPS priority shipping.

It's that time of the year I live an hour away placed my order on Sunday night and it won't be here till tomorrow just shipped today. It's not madvapes fault just USPS being behind on shipments.

Usually, shipping is lightning fast. The last order that I received was shipped on the same day that I ordered it. It arrived two days later using first class mail! On the other hand, I placed an order last Saturday and received the shipping info later that day. Unfortunately, it didn't actually get to the post office in Charlotte until yesterday. I think MV may be a little backed up for the holiday or the P.O. could be the problem. You should have your order soon. BTW....priority mail isn't really any faster than first class
Damned USPS. They "missent" one of my packages TWICE. It made it from NC to SF (less than an hour from me) overnight, then it went on a magical mystery tour for two solid weeks before it finally made it here.
The USPS is closing and consolidating sorting facilities. 5 billion bucks in the hole for the year, they claim... I noticed on my last order that madvapes added some other shipping options like FedEx. For the next year or so, you might consider spending the extra money and going with a different package carrier if you're in any sort of a hurry to recieve anything.
I usually get mine the day after it ships. I'd imagine this time of year though is hectic.
The USPS is considering slowing down their first class mail service. This could mean an extra day or two for our MV orders to reach their destination. Let's keep our fingers crossed but it doesn't look good.
I had heard from a postal employee that the USPS is planning on contracting out most of the deliveries, right down to your local mail man. The plan is to have boxes grouped, that way one guy can cover a larger area, cutting down on the needed employees. To make cuts even more they plan on having private companies do these deliveries, thus cutting benefit costs.

I read somewhere that they may be cutting a sizable amount of postal jobs. They also are going to raise their rates, decrease delivery days to five and close 250 postal centers. I guess we'll have to pay the extra two dollars for priority mail if we want our MV shipments in a timely manner!
They are cutting out next day shipping, so in-state shops won't help a whole lot.

I guess everyone could complain to their local Post Master General, in writing. Don't know where the post office is headed but the news is the same here, closing down lots of small areas, shoving it all into larger areas and expecting it to all get done.
I don't know if Hoog wants to start up a new system of postal service in the U.S., but someone eventually will. Not everything can get to people via email, and not everyone will afford FedEx. UPS is still going, DHL closed down - here anyway. But someone will have the gusto to do something affordable, I hope.
All with any late packages, hang in there, it is not MadVapes, it is USPS. In fact, we have a lot of carriers here that are not delivering mail, looking at Fed jail time, but nevertheless, it does not help the postal system or those of us waiting for vaping supplies!
ETA: Oh boy, the local news is talking about it now, even more cutbacks than originally expected. They showed giant carts full of mail that is way behind in delivery already b.c of these cutback, ack!
