I just picked up a small freezer. I really like it. I thought this might be helpful for anyone looking for a dedicated nic freezer.
It's an Avanti VFR14PS, cost $140 ship to store from Walmart. Front opening, 1.4 sq ft. I calculated it would hold 36 250ml bottles. External dimensions are 18 X 18, and 22" high, quite a bit smaller than the smallest chest freezer. Pretty quiet. It can be set to either fridge or freezer temp.
I checked out a bunch of small freezers on Amazon and this was the one that got the best reviews in the low end price range. Most of the others seemed to have reliability problems. Plus its the only one I saw that works as either a fridge or a freezer. They all had comments about them arriving with shipping damage, which is why I went with ship to store. Also $20 cheaper than Amazon.
It doesnt have a lock, but there are hinge holes on both sides so you could use the spare holes to attach a hasp of some kind, or drill your own holes
Seems just right for long term storage of nicotine, 9 liters should be enough for most people. Ill probably have 3 or 4 liters of nic in the upper section, leaving room in the lower section for a couple of liters of PG or VG and bottles of diluted nic ready for mixing. And I found a small plastic tub at Lowes that fits perfectly in the upper section, which would be good if I ever had a leaky bottle.
