Hello all

First post here and I did try a search but didn't really come up with anything.

I am looking at getting a mod after my ego c batteries are failing again. Never used one and have a few questions and looking for recommendations.

1, Most mods I have looked at don't seem to list measurements. I am looking for a cylinder type I can keep in my pocket and wont look to much like I'm extremely happy to see everyone.

2, Since I keep in my pocket a lot it needs to lock or turn off easily. I hate the 5 click as I think it is why my button on my egos always get so finicky.

3, Want to be able to use all my clearo's that I already have for my ego c's.

4, VV - VA Do I want it? Use it a lot on the go and cant imagine playing with settings unless I'm sitting at home in the evening.

5, Price not really a issue but don't be afraid to recommend cheap or expensive.

Thanks in advance for any help given!

Hap

My personal all day device is an evic. It's not that big and can run almost any tank. It does have the 5 click feature though.
Yes you want VV. You'll find that juices taste better at different voltages or wattages. And you'll be amazing at how easy it is to adjust on the fly without thinking. You won't even notice you're doing it.

Please note if the evic is to tall you can pick up a 18350 tube for it for like 5-10 bucks and an 18350 battery for around the same. So you'd have the big setup for road tips and small for day to day stuff.

Also welcome :D

The Sigelei Zmax V3 Telescopic Flat Top may be a perfect fit for you. Because it has a telescopic tube it changes length to accomodate different sized 18XX0 batteries. For all battery sizes it's one of the shortest tube mods you can find in VV/VW. Solidly built. It has 510 and eGo connections.

Sigelei Zmax V3 or V5 dimensions with four different single batteries.

-23 mm wide
-100mm long with 18350
-113mm long with 18490
-114mm long with 18500
-128mm long with 18650

You can also use 2x18350 but I don't go there and don't have the measurements.

All measurements made with calipers spanning base of battery cap to top of 510 connector.

Here it is with a long XL sized IBTanked carto tank on top and a 18500 inside the Sigelei.

Power lock out on the Sigelei is done on menu item #1. This involves three rapid clicks to bring up the menu and one click to lock out or bring back power to the fire button.

My two Sigelei V3 Telescopics. The one on top is my new back-up with the removable top cap. The one on the bottom has been used every day for the last eight months and still works perfectly. The screen on the older Sigelei was slightly crooked from day 1 but I didn't sweat that. These also have 18500 inside.

For a tube style mod, I like both my Sigelei Legend and my eVic on 18350 tubes. I don't have measurements, but they are pretty short. They are taller, with the Protank 2, than my Innokin VTR (but it is not a tube style). My personal preference for carrying around in a pocket is the VTR first, it fits better and has a full 18650 battery in it, BUT the Legend and the eVic aren't bad either.

hapd,
+1 for the Sigelei SS v5

1. yzer got there first with the measurements with the different batteries,
(love the 18500 size, 18650 is not no big, 18350 works on the stealth)
2. yzer bet me there, 3 clicks to the out on/off
3. Everything I have rides on it, 510 atmos, Pro Tank II, Evods.....in the pocket with the Evod.....so far no worries.
(waiting on a RBA for dripping.....better half better not find out.....)
4. VV and VW, yes, set it to VW (8 watts) anything you put on top gives you great vape.
5. I am watching Fasttech to get a second to go with my first (then I can PIF my eGo batteries).....

Definitely VTR if you just want to throw it in a pocket, the recessed tank really makes it compact.

Somewhere
there isn't anything smaller than the low voltage ego's
everything else will be based off the diameter of the battery for the most part.
My Provari Mini is about the same diameter as the Vamo, but a lot shorter
both are set for 18350 AW IMR

this picture is on Wide Rule notebook
it doesn't look like it,, but,,
the bottom is lined up exactly with the bottom blue line of the page
the Provari top is about perfectly lined up on that line.
as is the top of the vivi nova mini

Hope this helps. I don't have a good ruler to give good measurements

The Provari Mini is slightly bigger with the 18490, about the size of the Vamo with 18350.
Anything using an 18650, will be fairly long, by an inch+

last pic, forgot I had these.
Far right is a Vamo v2 in 18650 mode
Far left is the small ego
and then an Ego Twist next to the Provari

Operating VV/VW in the variable wattage mode is just as easy as operating variable voltage. One button push fires the APV. A couple of more clicks and you can warm or cool the vapor up or down. It's easy to be intimidated by the look of the menu screens on these things but they are very easy to use. If you can use a cell phone you can use a VV/VW APV.

The H200 is smaller and lighter than my Evic, Vamo, KSD, or ZMax in 18350 mode. It is only VV and not VW like the others.

The lower body is Al and has an upper body in chromed steel (? I think). so it is not quite the fingerprint magnet that the all chrome mods are. The 3 tone (mine is gold al/chrome upper body/black top) looks pretty cool too.

It has all of the various features: ego/510 threading, catch cup, venting, short protection, resitance and battery check. The screen is decent sized and clearly visible, although I do not like the +/- buttons on the top of the screen and the firing button on bottom of the screen. It is not 18650/18350 but only 18350 compatible.

Got mine at myfreedomsmokes. it came with a clearomizer which I promptly tossed after 1 minute of vaping, two cheepo Trustfire batteries, and a single channel charger.
