The yet to be released Innokin VV/VW VTR is a compact design that uses a replaceable 18650 battery. The juice delivery device cubbyhole should make it very pocket friendly. It should solve the issue of tanks snapping off in pockets.

The UK Ecig Store is taking pre-orders for mid-September delivery.

That looks really sexy. Me want.

I like this!! Whats a good size comparison for it??

The VTR is about the some height and depth as the iTaste MVP but is a bit over 1/2" wider. According to the UK ECig Store the VTR dimensions are 106 mm. tall (4.17"), 54.4 mm. (2.14") wide and 22 mm. (.87") deep. The iTaste MVP is 107 mm. tall (4.21"), 41 mm. (1.61") wide and 22 mm. (.87") deep.

Hey, don't shoot the messenger. I only answered a question about why the Robust got bad reviews.

Gotcha.

BTW, Bad, I guess I really don't understand why pbusardo did all that "fancy smancy" electronics testing on the Robust, I mean, it's a 14500 device. To me, we already know that by that fact, it's going to have limitations. People who don't want that are vaping on much more sophisticated devices that run on 18650's, that's a given.

It's like doing an analysis on skim milk versus whole milk and saying the former isn't as rich. yeah, we know. Some of us like skim milk though. Others will tell you how watery it is.

The 14500 technology is just never going to be powerful. When I want that I'll use a VV 18650 device, but I hate carrying around big fat and/or baton-like mods. I'd rather have 2-3 "baby" devices, and I bet there's a lot of women who feel that way, and probably some men.

Heck, I still talk to veterans here who are "advanced" vapers and love their Ego Ts.

I guess I see that it's just good for EVERYONE to give their personal experience about what they have vaped on, it's not about agreement or disagreement, more about personal preferences and it's just always INTERESTING to read what other people like and dislike...because it WILL help somebody else out there.

Obviously, I am looking for "A" when others are looking for "B", and that's good too..........cuz now we actually have a choice between not just A and B, but now there is C, D, E and F out there, too! It's good how fast ecig technology is changing

I'm quite sure that your photo essays of your mods, esp. in hand, have just been so useful to many people.......they sure were to me !!!!

I got the 650mah version a few months ago -
$17.81 EGO-V 650mAh USB Rechargeable Battery for E-Cigarette - grey / adjustable voltages at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

What you are missing is that it is a cheap - and cheaply made device, and thus a cheap feel. I got a bit afraid of it because it got really hot when I tried using it as a passthrough.

But, it worked. The voltage regulation on mine is as stated. I haven't used it since getting my Itaste-vv, but would be my choice of backup if anything happens to my Itaste.

I am one who has also been on a continual quest for years for a smaller lighter vv in a market dominated by heavy oversized mods.

Hey no, don't forget I am a noob & I'm only going off specs since I haven't held it in my hands.

I still stand by my statement about pass throughs though.

As for the constant search for the lightest, smallest, best mod, that's certainly nothing to be ashamed of... I'll probably be doing the same once I've got a better handle on my health & life...

None the less I'm definitely an ultra lighter, when you carry :/-100lb day to day, +/-160lbs overnight & +/-200lb on long distance treks (in fairness that includes a 60-70lb medic kit), you just have to go ultra light or you'll kill your knees before you are 30 & won't be doing anything. I am proud to report without sacrifices want functionality I've reduced my day weight to 35lb, overnight to 50lb & my long distance to about 65~75lb. I'm truly a gram weenie!

Long live the ultra light mod!

I picked up one of these to replace my worn out egos for a work vape (because it was cheap and I dont really care if it gets destroyed at work). Also just ordered an itaste vv v3 and have a feeling I'm going to really like it, should be here tomorrow. I too am trying to collect a few smaller mods because I'm sick of carrying around a huge, heavy 18650 mod regardless of performance. I can achieve a good vape on something smaller. The ego kit will allow me to carry ONE ego to work and just have a couple extra 14500s in case I need them.

I agree with you about pass-throughs - which is why my choice of pv is an itaste-vv and why I bought the ego-v as opposed to a twist or any of the other ego type mods or 14500 mods with vv. I got an ego pass-through when it first came out in September of 2010 and was completely hooked (after reading your post I looked up an old review of the ego pass-through I posted back then, and copied in a link to the tread below.)

I have no idea why pass-through batteries are not more popular, for me, it has become a must.

Got twists and a itaste vw v3
Twist got much better battery life but hard to read markings for voltage.
Spinner would b better as its markings are better

The itaste is better in all area exept battery life but does have pass trough
Vv ,vw, resistance checker shows u power left in battery on LCD and via colors if fire button. Puff counter if u into that
Square helps from it rolling off table
If I was to really try to find faults in it besides its lower battery life if say its got a rattle from the voltage up and down buttons, and having to wait for puff counter b4 u change settings gets annoying
