I've been running the IPV2s for the last 5 months and its the perfect size for me. I was about to pull the trigger on a IPV3 Li V2 until I saw a video and the thing was the size of a brick! Are there any actual smaller TC boxes that are comparable in size to say the IPV2s or Hanamod box that have replaceable 18650 batteries dual or single and can do at least 100 watts? It seems like box mods arent following common technology, instead of putting bigger things into smaller packages their putting bigger things into bigger packages...

What Roxy said, the IPV D2 might work for you, pretty stealthy, 1 18650 with quick change door, 75 watts with Nickel or Titanium priority...$69.95 list but can be had for 49.95 in a few places, oh...and comes with the silicone sleeve.

And the chip is authentic YiHi

Any reviews out there for this mod. It's $43.99 and free shipping on pre-order from China.

The smallest ones I've seen are the iStick 40W (which I just bought for the wife a few days ago and is the same size as the 30W) Invader Mini (not a box mod) and the IPV D2. The Invader Mini and IPV D2 have interchangeable batteries like you want but tops out at 50W and 75W respectively but in all honesty with a TC mod wattage isn't really an issue because that's just what the device uses to get the coil up to the set temperature then maintains it. So the only thing you would need more than say 35W for is getting it ramped up ridiculously fast.

Hmm, maybe because 40 watts might not be enough for someone?

pardon my ignorance, but seriously, what does the extra wattage do for TC? i was under the impression that, even at relatively low power, the coil reaches temp fairly quickly, and i'm pretty sure that it doesn't take 100W to maintain the temperature of an already hot coil.

not trying to be a {MODERATED}, genuinely curious.

There is a faster ramp up time with higher watts. That's pretty much it. Using 100 watts in temperature mode would probably mean instant temp protection for most coils.

For those people using thick wires the higher watts means faster ramp up time. No one likes waiting 2-3 second before their atty starts making vapor.

As for the size, the IPV D2 is tiny but it's not out yet. For a dual battery mod the SnowWolf 200W is MUCH smaller than the IPV3 or 4. In fact it's only slightly larger than the old Hana DNA30 box mod which is a single battery.

More wiggle room, a 40W device will be outdated when you buy it and if you end up not liking TC you still have a 100W+ mod

The only other mode I've seen smaller is the new Istick 40 watt, with TC. bout the size of the Istick 50 watt

My wife brought one of these home for me today as a surprise. (A benefit of having a wife that manages a vape shop)

It is much smaller then the iStick 50W, and is closer in size to the original 20W iStick. It is slightly thicker and slightly taller, and 22mm atomizers flush fit on it without needing the hideous lip that the iStick 30W has.

I wrapped my first TC coil using 28ga nickel and slapped it in a Lemo Drop. Initial impression? NEAT!

This is my first experience with TC, but from what I can tell, it's operating as intended, and I'm well pleased with it.

Basically, it allows massive coils to heat quickly. Then the temp control takes over and prevents them from overheating. Massive and complex wire sections make bigger cloud and can boost flavor.
