i was wondering when the micro g would show up, u got mail btw Dan. here is what i did today, ill start with the explination.

the one i made first i used an old atty that was burnt couldnt press it, soldered it, kept falling apart, my posts where too high, it sucked, but still worked. i let one of my co workers taske it to his wife cuz he was complaining to me that she goes through lr attys in 4 days on her jessy m. so i began on the second one, i turned some brass down, left it a lil on the fat side so i could get a good press, threaded it insulated it, all the good stuff, drilled on the brass i connector i made with a 1/32 end mill stuck the ic connectors in and soldered. assembled, marked my hole on the body and used a 1/32 em to make it. after that i used some lock tite glue we have at work that cures with uv to seal the bottom up to prevent leaks. it vapes awesome. nice tight draw, thick clouds, excellent flavor, not genisis flavor but really good. flavor you will never get from a china atty. i wanna thank meatsneakers for the info, i no longer need a bulli lol. on to the pics.

You need to rough up both the post and the side of the RCA connector with some sand paper, something like 120 grit. Then add some flux, get a decent amount of solder to pool and do the same to the post. Now position everything and make the iron touch both surfaces. Once they both wet, lay off the heat and you should be good to go.

This is what I came up with, had a non working CE2, so used the ideas here and made a working atty. Well, lol, it worked for like 10 minutes then I started having a short issue. I will try another, good thing I never threw away old stuff. Lots to practice on. I must say this atty rocked when it was working :)

this is great info.

I mentioned this in another thread, but someone should do a "for dummies" version of this thread.

What I need is a very basic step by step for someone who has never worked with any type of electronics. I need all parts listed along with tools needed and instructions a 6 year old can understand. :)

I am sure everyone would be super happy to see that thread.

thanks in advance.....

So you suggest some kind of 'How to' Book For Dummies, written for you? It will cost a lot of money :)

P.S. Anyway this is a good idea - to publish something like a monthly magazine with colourful pictures and tables, explaining for e-cig modders, what to buy for modding - a lathe, Dremel with accessories, files, a saw, a hammer, how to drill holes, how to solder etc...
Just imagine... :2cool:
