Smallest size?

Still pretty new to this stuff and trying to decide on a Vamo vs. SVD. Looked up a bunch of info but can someone pls tell me what is the smallest size one can achieve with a Vamo v3; if u have that info for the SVD also, that would be great.

The Vamo v3 in 18350 mode is 4 1/4" with no atty/tank on top.

Wow, thx for the quick reply! Seems like one of the big differences between the 2 is the fact that one can "lock" the buttons on the SVD but no the Vamo; are we talking about a physical way to do so? not sure I understand this feature...

"Locking" the buttons on a Vamo is not possible. If you want smaller, you can get 18350 and 18500 E-Vic tubes for the SID.

I have the vamo v3 and the svd.
With the same battery in each, the vamo is a hair smaller.
I like the feel of the buttons on the svd better.
I like the sceeen on the vamo better.
I like the feel of the vamo better.
Since the svd telescopes, you can use 18650, 18500/18490 and 18350.
The vamo can only use 18650 and 18350.
I feel the software is more stable in the vamo.
I do like the button lock feature on the svd, but never really seem to use it.
I like the svd 3 click turn on/off much better than the vamos 5 click.
Sometimes it seems the vamo needs a few extra clicks to turn on/off.
I think mostly due to the button not being as positive clicking as the svd.

I like both mods a lot, but mostly leave the vamo for use at home.
I have more confidence in the sturdiness of the svd for everyday out and about use.

Locking the buttons only refers to the wattage/voltage setting.....it's so you don't accidently change the setting.

I prefer my svd to my vamo in terms of build quality. The threading on the svd is superior. Also, tanks sit flush on the svd which reduces possible leverage on those threads. Not to mention, the center pin floats on the SVD. The Vamo is a performer but be careful with those threads!
