I ordered two 1.8ohm dripping atomizers from smart vapes on 4/6/13 and received 4/13/13 7 day total time to receive order. Total after shipping was $15.26

SmartVapes 510 1.8ohm E cig Dripping Atomizer

I ordered these because I wanted to get into the world of direct dripping. I had read a post about the 306 attys on smart vapes and followed a link that went to a blank page. I ended up just going directly to smartvapes website and thought I was getting the 306s when I ordered these (My bad... lol) replies to my post about ordering from others saying they were out of stock is the only way I knew I did not get 306s (thanks others for pointing out my folly)

THE REVIEW
4/13
I felt like a little kid waiting for Christmas waiting to get my first dripping attys since I got the tracking number I was checking the mailbox and been asking my mailman every day for the last three days if I had a mailer envelope... then today it was there. The maillady didn't even have a chance to put it in my box, I was waiting for these at the door. Opened them up and popped it on my VV and WHOOSH! I had forgotten to crank it down to find where I should set it, turned it down to about 3.5 and was still too hot and tasted metally so I put it on my old inferno batt and flooded it with trying to get enough liquid in it. Still tasted metally and burnt so I thought maybe I had accidentally fried it. I got on here and started doing some research, luckily I found a post from Ocelot about a dripping cheat sheet he had and he graciously PM'd it to me. It was at this point I first found out about a priming liquid some attys have on them from the factory. To the sink I went and rinsed it with water blew it out rinsed again and blew it out as well as I could. I waited a couple minutes and used paper to get the excess water then put juice in it again ( I have found 3 drops to be good with this atty for me) started vaping with it on my inferno again and Voila! no more burnt metally taste. Dripping is a new game to me and so far I've been enjoying it.

at 3.4v it produces good flavor and low throat hit
3.6v warmer hit with a little less sweetness to the flavor
3.8v it burns the juice and tastes horrible

One of the large reasons I got the drip tip was to be able to use on my old inferno batts so I didn't have something as clunky to haul around, that being said I went back to using my drip tip on my inferno with the cone cover over the atty to help contain some of the excess that has been leaking. I am still not a dripping pro yet I still occasionally get a dry hit even just after dripping on the atty. I am a bit of a chain smoker and have found that taking two hits back to back almost certainly gives me a dry or at least very burnt/metally tasting hit. My experience with this atty has not been the best I'm sure it is a good atty that I'm not using properly but I'm wishing I had just ordered another tank and extra cartos at this point.

TECHNICAL

1.8ohm (reads 1.7ohm) bridgeless
510 threaded
comes with a cartridge style tip that fits very snuggly and is nice except have to take it off to drip

TH: so far has been nearly non-existent other than the slight feeling of what I assume to be the nicotine, I'm getting no warmth at all in my vapor except for at higher voltages but the flavor then deteriorates. 4/10

Vapor: vapor is adequate to good at best and very wispy and stringy most times. 7/10

Flavor: for how much everybody raves about the flavor on a direct dripping set up I cant stop getting a burnt taste out of this atty every other hit it seems. I am curious if the bridgeless atty doesnt hold extra juice that the bridged one to help keep the coil wet 5/10

Summary

I feel that is a good product that I am personally misusing and not getting the most out of. If anyone has pointers please let me know if its me or the equipment. I will continue to edit this over the next week or so as I get more accustomed to using it.
