**Smoke Box- Dedicated smoking area, usually located outside Hospitals and Large buildings. Enclosed areas, usually with glass windows with a large ventilation unit in the ceiling.

...how about the death rooms in airports? Can't do those anymore, no way....whoah! Not about to let myself be a rabid anti but man are those disgusting (they even were as a smoker).

I'm neutral when it comes to smelling tobacco smoke. But, I never used to notice it at ALL, and now I do ... even clinging to a person who has recently smoked a cigarette.

There have been a few times (even when I was still smoking) when I got a hotel room which reeked of stale tobacco smoke. That even bothered me as a smoker.

I've only been vaping for a few days but when I was on the patch, I could smell the cigarette in the car in front of me! I'm not sure if I'd be able to now though (either something in the patches or just sense of smell had came back). I work in an office and when some smokers come in, it seems like they smoke in their car with the windows rolled up and blow the smoke down into their shirt to keep it there. GROSS! I hope I never smelled as bad as some of those smokers, as I would always try to keep the smoke away from my body as much as possible and would always smoke outside. I bought my truck brand new and would always air out my truck for a good few minutes after a smoke, as to not let the smoke linger and take away the "new car smell".

I still like the smell of fresh cig smoke...but stale is awful. Like others I'm also noticing what a smoker smells like- and I'm SO glad that my hair doesn't stink anymore.
I was at a party last night where every room was filled with some kind of smoke. I didn't mind it too much, but my hair right now, is way past shoulder length. I could smell the accumulated smoke on my hair and my pillow this morning.
On the bright side, I ended up possibly converting about 20 more people to e-ciggies.

I've been vaping for 5 months, but still hitting the analog's in the morning with coffee, outside of course. I never smoked in the house or my car. My roomie smokes in the house, and I have to hold my breath walking past her. The smell really bothers me. I now notice it on people even on the street. I brush my teeth at least 3 times, and wash up before I leave the house. I never realized how bad I must have smelled for 30 years. Time to eliminate the morning cigs all together.

I'm getting pretty sensitive to the smell, though, like others, I don't mind fresh smoke as much. I smoked for over 20 years and never knew how strong that smell was, or how long it lingered. It's kind of embarrassing because no matter how nice someone looks, if I smell smoke on them, secretly I'm like "yuck...".

My husband still smokes in the house (about 4-5 a day) and that doesn't bother me, but the lingering smoke in the car does and I'm thinking I'm going to have to ask him not to smoke in the car with me because it's making me a little nauseated. He'll be cool with that, but I never wanted to be an ex-smoker, the complainer  Kind of sad

Can honestly say that the smell of others smoking really bothered me unless I had one fired up as well. And the smell from someone who has just had a smoke and walks past is unbearable at times. My biggest pet peeve was folks who smoke in restaurants. I never could enjoy my meal and savor every bite when having to compete with the odor of burning tobacco.

I actually feel sorry for the non smokers that are in my life when I was a smoker. The stench is horrible!!

Like most of the rest of you, its not an actual cig burning that bothers me, but the way ppl smell after smoking. And of course any room that has been smoked in with that stale smell.

Going to bingo as a vaper and not a smoker should be interesting... I wonder where we will sit, smoking or non??

I dont really mind the fresh smoke smell - like someone else said, it smells like memories. The stale smoke smell though yeah, with you on that one lol
I'm also convinced I can smell nicotine. I can smell it on myself Im sure, its not quite the same smell as cig smoke, its more tart but I know I smell something that isn't flavorings or vapor and the only thing I can come up with is nicotine. I can actually smell it on my skin, like Im sweating it out (I know it sounds gross lol Im a really clean person and always been able to smell things pretty well even as a smoker). I'm a bit of a hand washer at times so I know my hands are clean (and love my showers with fruity smelling washes) - but I can still smell this ..smell. Its not like stale smoke, its a sharper and less ewwww.
Anyone else smelling it?
