I've got a bottle of joyetech MAB/USAmix (supposed tobacco flavor) and another of "Boss" High Caliber Apple Pie. They are from different vendors.

But they both smell and vape the same! Distinct smell of peanuts.

I wondered if this was a typical small and vape of expired eliquid. They were this way when I got them, and no change after 1-2 months of sitting in a dark room temperature environment.

They were received in that condition.... in small plastic bottles (the typical 10mL, squeezable size).... smelling like peanuts.

Are vendors supposed to store them in some other way, before shipping them out to customers?

Oh...that's odd. Most of them make it to order so it's fresh as can be or keep it at a controlled temp in sealed spaces. I've vaped the High Cal Apple Pie and it dosen't have any hint of peanuts.

I have some 18 month, or so, year old tobacco flavor from Altsmoke that I haven't vaped forever but it hasn't changed at all when I run out of liquid and force myself to try it again lol I don't think it should change although if you're not using high-quality plastic or glass you might worry about the plastics coming out of the bottle into the liquid but there are people that drink water from 10 year old plastic bottles and live so it isn't something scary toxic or something like that.

Typically i believe the experiation date is 2 years from date mixed. It should have either a date mixed or a expiration date on your bottle. Personally though, I never use mine once it turns that nasty dark syrup color -- just doesnt "look" right to me after that for some reason. I know taste will diminish alot too after so long.

I just got in a bottle from Rawr. On the bottle there is a "birth"date and a use by date. The date they made it was actually only a couple days before I got it in the mail. I guess it all depends on the manufacturer and like all things that depends on the users taste, some of the more mass produced juices might have flavors that just dont sell as fast. Like all new consumable products, its not till they get really popular and out to the masses when they start putting on warnings, expiration dates and a list of all ingredients. Im pretty sure that it will happen with the juice industry. Especially with some vaperers who are really into natural organic flavors over the artificially flavored juice.
