Kind of an odd question, but is the vaping smell generally unpleasant to others? I was under the impression it didn't smell like anything, and I honestly can't smell it myself (not surprisingly). My wife started complaining when I received my new flavors that the smell is strong, "like burnt cigarette filters and incense." (and no, that wasn't the flavor I ordered
) And the taste isn't burnt, like when I over-do a cart and burn it.
After establishing it wasn't just complaining
, I'm curious if there's a trick to the smell, i.e. does a % of pg/vg, a "boosted" flavor, a sweeter flavor, higher nic content, etc. make a difference?
Don't mean to post a "my foot falls off every time i vape" (exaggerated) kind of medical question, but since I'm still very-much a newbie, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask and there might be something I'm simply not aware of.

She said it smelled like flavored pipe tobacco, and noticed it didn't make her cough.
