OK here's a question? When you reply to a thread, and you want to add a smilie or emoticon, where the heck do you get them? This is the first thread I have ever started and lo and behold, what do I see? A whole bunch of choices I don't see when I "reply" to a thread. Like here they are: :p:?::oops: But...when I reply (not start) a thread, I don't have but only maybe 5 or 6 things. Like I can "bold", "Italicize", "underline", stuff like that. But how do I add the ability to add smilies to my "reply to" messages, if they are not there now? Boy do I feel dumb already so don't slam me too hard

Yes... but lots of people add custom ones from somewhere that are not on the list. How do you do that?
Easy as including any image in a post. Just have to know the image location. See the icon

? Click on it, insert the URL, and you're set.

Here's one of my favorites ... http://www.mysmiley.net/

Okay, I've always used the code. What other way is there?
Maybe I misunderstood something you said? Please check Post #7 of this thread. All you need to do is copy/paste the URL of the image file. I use Firefox but the routine is the same for other browsers, I think. Find the smiley you want to use, RIGHT click on it and then select "Copy image location" or similar wording from the resulting dropdown menu. Then paste that URL in as in Post #7.

I may be giving more detail than you require. I hope that's better than not enough info. Have fun! :)
