The Geekvape Aegis or the Geekvape Aegis Legend? Either or, both are excellent devices, the Aegis houses a single battery, where the Legend is 2 batteries. You’ll get more run time with the Legend at the expense of a larger device.

I have never seen the Pico Dual until you mentioned it and I performed a search. Don’t know if how that battery housing is situated whether it would hinder using a larger tank. What tank do you own?

My only concerns with devices that do not have replaceable batteries is once that battery’s life cycle comes to an end, the whole device has to be replaced. You also cannot swap the battery for one that is fully charged. Many carry extra batteries with them when on the go for this purpose. ALWAYS use a proper battery case when carrying batteries!!

Thank you so much for your help. You are all so great. I can’t believe I found a forum with no nasty people.

I think I’ve decided on the GeekVape Aegis Solo unless someone sees some reason I shouldn’t get that.

Can’t go wrong with that choice. Own 3 Geekvape devices, they all have been solid performers and built like a tank!! Geekvape also frequents these forums should you have questions. Very good customer service.

+1 for Geekvape Aegis Legend, if the price is good. They're designed to take punishment somewhat.
I’m leaning toward the solo because the full kit is the same price as just the mod with the legend. You seem to get so much more for the money. I’ll buy an external charger and always have a charged battery so I won’t really need the dual battery. I also like the idea of the smaller mod.

Smaller is easier, you should see the Lost Vape Triade. It's a triple 18650 mod that's good for low ohm vaping or vaping for a long time without charging, but it's certainly not pocket friendly.

Some other good mods on the smaller side I've seen around @LaurieStr, are the Vandy Vape Jackaroo ( ruggedised single 21700 mod) and Dovpo Topside (single 21700 squonk mod).

So one other good piece of advice I could give you, is to get a charger that can charge 21700 batteries. As the vape mod market is slowly adopting them, so in the future we should start seeing more mods using them.

If that is your plan, please use a proper battery case to transport that spare battery (and the used cell once swapped). It may sound like an unnecessary accessory, but many accidents happen from users improperly transporting these batteries in a pocket, bag or purse where they can short against something that is conductive such as keys or loose change. Battery cases are dirt cheap, couple of $ at most.

Just an update. I ordered the GeekVape Aegis Solo kit, an external charger and a battery case from Myvpro.com and got a great deal on it. Including tax I only paid a total of $54.82 for everything. The shipping was pretty quick. I received it today and really like it. The only complaint I would have is that it seems like it would tip over easily and break the bubble glass but it came with an extra glass that is not bubble so that problem is easily solved. Really long way of saying I really like this mod. I would definitely recommend it. Thanks again for all the advice.
