The contacts that sit deep inside the mod are mounted on springs, you can test with one battery how far you can push it in with your finger, then you'll see if it's fine to put a little more force on the door. Maybe the springs are a bit stiff, that will change over time.
Normally they should fit fine, my sony batteries were all pretty accurate regarding their dimensions.

Make sure you have flat tops like elvis suggested. Nipple tops probably won't fit.

This is what the batteries look like, I tried putting only one in and closing the lid, but it still won't close fully. I bought the batteries from a trusted norwegian vapeshop online

Those should fit, if they're authentic. I suggest adding a little lubricant if it's a tight fit, and I'd bet things will loosen up over time (hopefully). Just be gentle as you try to wriggle them in there, so they don't get stuck, or anything else bad happens.

I really hate it when mods are a tight fit for batteries, it's so much easier to damage the wraps, so I would keep an extra eye out for that as well.

Best of luck. I believe I remember reading a thread where a member was experiencing the same issue, with a different mod and was looking for batteries that might fit. I think the consensus was that the brown LGs are slightly tinier (we are talking small differences) in their specs, but I don't know if those batteries would be powerful enough for your application, and since my memory is spotty, I'd also try to see if you can get the exact dimensions for those batteries (if you feel they might work in your setup). Sometimes 0.5 mm can make a big difference in a mod like that.

Best of luck, I hope you get a resolution soon!

You certainly have put enough pressure on them trying to close the battery door, it appears there is a scratch/mark/indentation on the positive end.
There is no way to be certain they're authentic from a picture.

Have you tried to depress the 'springs' / positive contacts inside the power device to see if they're stuck?

You may have to try different cells.
LG HG2 or Samsung 30Q have similar specs.

I managed to close the lid but doing that I jammed the lid close and it was really hard to open again. Now there's small marks on the batteries, the mod didn't work when the lid was close, but when I press it close while it's open (hope you understand) and click the press the power button the screen turns on.

(If you see in the middle there's small dark marks)

I actually got it working now, just that I'm a bit unsure whether I managed to close the lid properly or not
Welcome and glad you joined.
Glad to hear it's working.
I have provided a little more information which might help choosing/evaluating batteries.
