The easiest way to find out is to turn it all the way down and take a puff, turn it up a little and take another puff, repeat until you get a vape that you like. If it gets unpleasant, turn it down a little.
could be the best bet but it has settings for temp and watts so whats best thing to do there?
Thanks for the reply

The "standard kit" (if there is such a thing...there may not be) seems to come with an installed 0.3 ohm fused clapton coil.

The above advice holds - start with the watts fairly low, and slowly move up until you're happy.
BALLPARK watts for a 0.3 ohm coil? Maybe 45 to start?

ALSO - what were you using before?
That kind of coil/watt setup expects to have a fair amount of airflow. If you're used to something with a very tight draw, and have the tank airholes closed down, that could be part of it.

hello i recently bought a smok micro online as i was having problems with my old ecig. The new ecig (smok micro) seems to be very harsh with the liquid i am using this may be due to the settings which i am using or not i was wondering if anyone could help with why this or help with the best settings for this ecig.

Thank you
