When I first got this device i was pretty satisfied with it until just the other day it was showing odd behavior. The screen going on off when attempted to fire the device so now it no longer fires..
I then removed the battery took out the internals found a loose wire that somehow came free. Further inspection seems to show signs of juice entering to device i saw carbon residue on the solder joints glad i took it apart at this point.
So i went ahead desolder the joints cleaned the contacts on the board and applied new solder on the joint that came free and attempted to put the battery door on and in the process i start getting all the usually sparks... I was like okay I've seen it do this before nothing new there, next smoke okay that's bad.
So there goes my battery 25r :-( this is a total failure of the manufacturer here in the process of putting the door on i vented my battery not a good day. I guess i'm damn lucky i got the battery out before anything else happened.
Day 2 inspecting it yet again board appeared to be fine nothing out of the ordinary. Looking at postive pin there's an issue insulator see some melted plastic due to the heat of the vented battery.
In my attempt to remove melted plastic covering the postive pin i somehow snapped the postive pin (just not my day jeez) lucky the screw still threads. Took the positive lead adapted a hole for my screw lead and glued in the screw with metal bonding cement.
And after all of this it now works again i still have qumps about the battery door what a disaster this could have been had i not gotten it out.
