I've been vaping on a very basic vape for about two weeks now, the Smoov micro. However, I'm not satisfied and considering buying a new one. My current vape has a wattage of 15 watts max. I'm looking for a higher wattage one. I cant decide between the smok mag and majesty. Any opinions would help. Thanks!

Smok is the huffy bicycle of vaping. Lots of feature, low prices, bright colors, terrible build quality. Smok mods Can last a long time but they all too frequently don’t.
If I really hated a mod, I would not buy another one of the same brand just higher power.
Perhaps that is just me, and in actual FACT now that I think back, I went from a Cleto tank to a Nautilus 2 tank.

It's just that.... you can get so many other different things than Smok and they really are like, one of the worse ecig makers.
In fact in a SPECTACULAR bout of circular reasoning might I suggest an Aspire Cleto 120 Sub0hm tank? I hear they are pretty good.
Follow Baditude, man. He will not steer you wrong. But, it sounds AS IF you want to go from hardly any vapor to a bunch and I hope that assumption is correct. In which case if it must be Smok, I might go with the Majesty I've heard less complaints about it, but I think well the Mag may have been around longer, and I think the Majesty might be the one that only accepts Smok coils (maybe) (oh, God) where as some of the other smok tanks you can use all sorts of different coils in them.
I'm posting this because if nothing else, there is a lesson in here somewhere. For me.

The early stuff is all dead.
The middle stuff is... um... just about going.
The recent stuff is decent, but only the tanks as I have too strong a memory of the countless threads on short-lasting Smok mods.
If it was ME, I'd not risk it. I was offered some Aliens for about $19 (£15) and turned them down.
Basically, they are not reliable enough. I know they sell a lot, but there are hundreds of thousands of internet threads about broken Smok mods. More than what one might expect for the volume of sales.

Would I go for something else first? Definitely.

Would avoid any SMOK products OP. They are plagued with issues, youd really be rolling the dice. Their are plenty of great mods for similar prices.. Smoant, Vaporesso, Innokin,.. Im sure others can suggest just as good choices. Would avoid SMOK products because even if their mod doesnt fail, catch fire and burn your house down. Their coils are just as s#it. Buy 5 and only 2 work in the pack. If your going for plug n play coils.
However if your hearts set on it, its your money to spend as you wish, just offering advice from personal experience. Best of luck in your decision making!
OH! and if you do get a smok shb ohm tank, their are other brands of coils that work in them. I believe NRG works jn their beast line, someone weigh in here if im wrong!

Of the 2 choices you listed I would pick neither. SMOK has great marketing, less than so so quality, lackluster dependability, and close to zero customer support.
Look at just about any other name brand; Vaporesso, GeekVape, Kanger, Eleaf, Aspire, Innokin, etc... I really like the Vaporesso Revenger X and GeekVape Aegis Legend.

If you're determined to buy Smok, at least get a Prince tank. It's the only Smok tank that I've ever gotten any flavour from. And stay away from the T12 coil, no flavour and it costs an extra $6-$7.
I personally would recommend something from Vaporesso, especially any kit that uses GT or EUC coils. The Armour Pro with a Cascade Baby tank is my personal favorite. Have some fun shopping.

Smok must be doing something right. Could go with your gut feel after reading all the reviews you can.
One method I subscribe to, is never order anything unless you know for sure it's legit/trusted or are willing to lose the money. I try to never purchase without talking to a live named person at the companies (confirm) address (If possible, get a direct phone number to that person). It's a good idea to find out about the products warranty information (esp. who pays for the return) before you buy.
ECF has a vendor forum where you can contact a vendor of a particular manufacturer and bring to light any problems you may incur (if you choose to purchase from an ECF supplier).

Depends on what you mean by “right” I guess. They have a very powerful marketing arm and they do sell mods very cheaply. If you don’t know anything about ecigs and most new users don’t, going with the cheapest device with the most features makes a certain kind of sense. Of course the build quality makes the things break way too often and forces the users back to cigarettes so they’re effectively killing people, but it seems to be an effective business model
I own two SMOK mods from prior years. One broke within 6 months and the other is still working, but not being used. The designs, features, and pricing are attractive, but there's an apparent lack of quality control, IMO. From comments by ECFers the QC issue is probably hit and miss.
