smok is a leading company in the vaping sector, it could not miss the opportunity to put on the market a Pod with a simple "Pen Style" appearance but with hi-tech content. The pod is in fact electronic with automatic puff, OLED screen, 700mAh battery and type C charging socket.

The package on the front shows the image of the Nfix Kit, some "highlights" are remembered such as the 0.8Ω Nfix coil, the 3ml cartridge capacity, the 0.69 "Oled screen. The variable Wattage (1-25W), the 700mAh rechargeable battery, the Type-C charging socket and the color of the device.

On the back are listed: the content, warnings, logos, brands and the security check.

The Smok Nfix looks like a classic stick. The body has a single button, it is used to switch the device on / off and to regulate the power supply. The screen performs the control functions. The activation of the device is of the automatic puff type.

On the edge there are two air-flow holes (one on each side)

The bottom of the Nfix houses a valuable type-C charging socket.
The compartment to house the pod has a power hole located in the center of the two contact pins.

The disposable Pod can hold up to 3ml of liquid. It is built in PCTG and offers good transparency.
The refill is accessed by lifting the rubber stopper located on the side.
The pre-assembled resistance is a 0.8Ω double coil with 15-25W range, alternatively sold separately we find a 0.8Ω single mesh / coil with 10-15W range

How Smok Nfix works:

By pressing the single adjustment button five times, we switch the device on / off. When turned on, SMOK appears first, then the firmware version is indicated, when turned off the message "goodbye" appears.

By pressing the adjustment button three times consecutively we could adjust the wattage from 1 to 25W. When you reach 25W it starts from 1W again.
The number of puffs returns to zero after having reconnected the pod.

The type-C charging socket is located on the bottom of the device, the entire charging cycle lasts about 60 minutes.
Multiple protections include:
- Intelligent identification of the atomizer
- Cut-Off at 8s
- Short circuit protection
- Low voltage protection

Final considerations:

After testing it for a while, I think the Smok Nfix is undoubtedly an excellent product in its category, it roughly maintains the size of a basic product, but adds technology thanks to the information readable on the Display.
Few pods in this price range have a display, even less with voltage regulation, this is enough to make the Nfix a multifunctional portable pod.

The display is monochrome, the diagonal is small, but sufficient information is presented on it.

The Nfix is powered by an integrated 700mAh battery with good autonomy despite the constantly operating display.
I really liked the type-c charging interface.

The disposable PCTG cartridge is well fixed thanks to its two magnets, has a remarkable capacity for the type of device (3ml) about 1.5 times more than the general standard, offers good visual control over the level of the liquid inside.
The side recharge is quite comfortable, I have not detected any condensation even leaving the pod inserted overnight.

The two air holes are not adjustable, but it is easy with the fingers to partialize at least one during the vape, thus obtaining a closed shot.
With the current double coil NFIX DC0.8Ω MTL (free holes) the pull is of the MTL type open.

The general feeling at 15w is relatively full and rich, the released aroma is well defined compared to other types of pods, the shot is smooth and fluid.
Even small concentrations mg / ml are well perceived.
This coil can be used with all the power of the device (25W) while never getting too hot steam, 20W as far as I'm concerned can be the optimal wattage.

I can't wait to try the 0.8Ω MTF (10-15W) specific single coil NFIX MESHED, unfortunately it was not included in the package of this sample.
