Good sunny morning,

did anyone had already an idea how to reduce the airflow on a smok nord?

Tried to put some cotton into the bottom of the pod which worked.
But maybe there is another good idea.

Also thinking about a 3d printed plate which could be used inside the bottom space and would reduce the airflow to a bit more restriction.

Would like to archive the same airflow from the 0.8 MTL mesh coils on the 0.6 one.

Any ideas?
thanks

I did the same thing. I have paper towel jammed in it. It really could be a decent device if you could cut down af easier. I thought about putting some sort of putty, epoxy, or caulk type substance in one or more of the 4 slots in the housing. But didn't really want to inhale any fumes from what I had on-hand. It could work well to block some of them if you come up with a substance you wouldn't mind using.

Yes, these 4 side channels on the body seem to be the best way to reduce the airflow. So you can easily remove the pod. Right now i blocked one side with cotton and these 0.6 coils are really spot on when it comes to flavour. Maybe even a bit too hot. But as soon the battery drops all gets right.
Well, looks like another 3D Fusion 360 session and some favours from friends.
Stay tuned...

Yup, my only real gripe about the Nord is that there is no AFC. I'd like to be able to use it as a true MTL device, but even the "MTL" coil is way too airy for my liking.

Personally, I would never use any type of material inside a mod that wasn't approved or intended for ingestion buy a human being - so I would stick with more innocuous materials like cotton, kleenex, or paper towel - but that's just me.
