Sooo question 1. can non salt-nic juice be used in sub ohm 0.8 0.9 ohm coils in Nove 4 device? Like 6mg non salt juice or is there a different MOD for that juice?

Yes you can use freebase nic ("non salt-nic") in any device. However if the freebase juice is very thick (high VG) it may not wick properly in the Novo 4. Many salt nic juice are 50% VG. Juices as high as 70%VG might wick well enough, but you'll have to test that. If 70%VG freebase juice is too thick for the Novo 4 coil, then you will have to find a 50%VG freebase juice to use in the Novo 4 instead.

The only difference between salt nic and regular freebase nic is the salts can be used at much higher strength than freebase. There are no specific mods or coil setups for each type of nicotine.

It's not that simple. The problem with freebase in this newer age of vaping is that the vast majority of it is 70%VG or higher now so usually if you want a thinner juice you have to go with salt nic juice. So when a manufacturer says that their device or coil is "optimized for salt nic" what they really mean is that the coil head is wicked for thinner juices. If they were more accurate in their statement it would eliminate a lot of confusion in the industry. But unfortunately confusion in products has been a problem since day 1 (especially with coil head model names) in this industry and at this point I guess it's safe to say it's never going to be corrected. China leaves it up to retailers to sort out the details, but unfortunately 99% of them don't know jack about vaping gear. To this day, retailers selling ego and 510 batteries STILL don't know the difference between ego threads and 510 threads. lol (just last week I came across a well-known retailer who sells a 510 battery and calls it an "Ego battery", but it has no Ego thread!!! lol).
