I’ve been vaping with the Novo for a few months now. I’ve noticed that the pods that come with the kit seem to be better made than the ones I am buying as replacements. I use Directvapor and I always authenticate my purchases through the smok app, but the replacements don’t seem to last as long and tend to spit and leak more. Any tips? I have started making sure I never run completely out of juice in the pod. I’ve noticed that extends the life. I’ve also noticed that if I make sure the “Smok” stamp on the pod is on the same side as the “Smok” stamp on the stick it seems to hit better and last longer.

I could swear you posted this exact same thing a few days ago. It's not likely you will get any answers you didn't already get.

I personally haven't had any real issues with my novo, but smok products aren't exactly well known for their quality control. I imagine a large majority of the other forum members will recommend you get something not made by smok.

Personally I don't have any recommendations for you though. The only pod systems I have any experience with are the novo and the Sourin drop. I've found that the novo pods tend to last a fair amount longer than the pods for the drop and are on average a couple of bucks cheaper. I do sometimes have leaking issues with the novo but it's normally remedied by blowing through the bottom of the pod to get the excess juice out.

I also tend to refill my pods when they are about half full. If the pods run out of juice the wick will get dry and you risk burning the wicks. Running out of juice in the pod is about the quickest way to get you pods to taste horrible.

I did post this same exact question a few days ago. I had a member reach out and suggest I post it in the Pod thread... I hope I did it right. I know I did watch a You tube video on how to help the life of the pod and it worked this morning! It's called "How to fix BURNT SMOK NOVO Pod!" by Drew Hammond. It did give me trouble watching because it has an age restriction on it. I'm well over 21 - I watched on my phone and it worked fine.
