SMOK RSST or AGA-T?

i prefer the rsst. i have owned both and sold the aga t2 i had. imo the rsst hit better. looked better and was easier to wrap. i ran a 2-3 coil with 400 mesh on both and to me the rsst kicked ...
I've been looking into getting a new rba, I only have Aga-t's. I was looking at the RSST but really you can only run on one wick, so if you chose to go with a silica/organic or dual wick set up you can't.
I found the AGI 2in1, it's a little bit more expensive than the RSST but far more versatile.

RSST is much easier and newbie friendly. But be advised that since it is so easy, you may not gain the skills you need for any other rebuilds.
Rsst pros seems i always hear great for first time genesis style user and i believe the wick hole is insulated?
Cons price is higher and it uses a form of plastic for tank
Agat2 pros pyrex tank and the cheaper buy
Cons probably a little harder to set up

If you are looking at the AGA T (just T) then the RSST is better. Reason why is the AGA T is a threaded cap and some people do not like having to untwist the cap to align the air hole with the wick. The AGA T+ and the AGA T2 have that improvement because of the cap being a gasket held "snap on" type.
I have tried both, just to see how they hit and the RSST does seem to hit a little better, however I think the air hole is different sized or something - not sure exactly what it is. Reason why I think it is the air hole is the guy who let me try them had both the AGA T2 and the AGA T+ and one of them had the air hole drilled a little bigger and put another small hole on the opposite side. I can't remember which one had the bigger and extra air hole but it was a much better hit - nice and smooth, not too airy and just right. I do like the cap on the RSST though in terms of appearance.
I do not know which one is better in terms of coiling or anything at this time. I have included the pros and cons of why I am getting the AGA T2. This will be my first RBA also.
So here is my pro and con list for my decision:
pro: Here in Malaysia, the ATA T2 is available (in supply) while the RSST is difficult to find.
The cap seemed to fit better on the ATA T2 (could have been just this guy's I got to try but his RSST cap just did not seem to fit right)
I am able to have the air hole in the cap drilled out a little bigger and have a small air hole on the other side - he will not do that on the RSST
The ATA T2 (I think all the ATA T's) are solid stainless steel while the RSST has brass with a polished stainless steel plating (at least this guy's did on the cap)
con: I liked the RSST cap design better than the ATA T2
I liked the RSST hit better - have to modify the unit right off the bat before wicking and coiling for the ATA T2
I liked the RSST wick hole better because it is a little bigger so able to take a thicker wick - meaning more juice at the coil - that also needs to be modified for the ATA T2

I think I'm leaning toward the RSST after watching PBusardos review on youtube. Plus I ordered a drawtube and have seen pics of it sitting on top and it looks pretty slick!
Dont know about that... My AGA looks way better on my drawtube than my RSST. I ordered another mech for it.
RSST and drill out the airhole to a bigger size and your golden. Great rba for $35, plus it looks nicer than the agat imo
aga-t2: pyrex, able to dual wick if you like, pos post sucks
rsst: easy setup, plastic tank, mine and others leak out of the 510 connection
aga-t2 wins for me because i can leave it on my mod, the rsst has to sit on something else until i want to use it and take it off after using it...just my personal experience, altho others have leaked less than mine.

+1. Prefer it also because I started with RBAs on an AGA-T. It was my "practice" RBA.

Virtually. The RSST is a tad wider, 22mm exactly i think where as AGA looks like 21.7mm. But the satin finish on the RSST just doesnt go well with drawtube.
The best looking tank on a drawtube i got so far is the AGI, both in dripper and tank mode. Im waiting for another wave of mods in the mail so AGA will have to do.
Yea I saw a few pics of the AGI on it, looks great, How do you like the AGI in tank mode?
I have the rsst. I almost put it away because of a few setup issues with leaks. Used a gasket from a vivi nova head inside the tank and one from the coil. Put it under the spring. Can't wait to get my aga and compare.

i was stuck with the same decision so i ordered both the aga and rsst, the rsst is def the much easier of the two too set up but i also wanted the glass tank aga for those tank crackers
So Ive had the RSST for a couple weeks and I like it, It did leak a drop or so but I googled a fix for that. All you need is a little plumbers tape around the center post below the spring and gasket, problem solved! NO leaks. I also drilled out the air hole to 3/32, 400 mesh 28g kanthal= thick clouds of vapor.
Im finding the cap on my RSST seals good,but the cap wants too come off if i just push on the side,its annoying.Im starting too like my AGAT2 better now,even tho the nut on the center post is hard too work with.
