RSST is a tank with a top coil design. There is a hole in the top plate in which the wick is inserted to draw juice upwards to the coil deck. There are a multitude or ways to build the coil. Initally the RSST was designed for Stainless Steel mesh wick but can be used with silica, cotton, ekowool, or a combination of any othe the wicks listed and probably even more.
Pros... you dont have to empty the tank to change wicks/coils. Many different ways to coil it.
Cons... the little rubber plug, bumping the top cap and loosing it.
Dual coil? I would say yes with some thought.....and clever design work

I own an RSST and it sits in my box of useless vaping junk. It was the first RTA I purchased and I built countless coils on the damn thing and always had issues with hot spots and dry hits. I used SS Mesh, cotton, and silica and just always had issues with the thing. When I did have it working the flavor was not good so I dropped a little extra cash (ok, maybe more than a little) and bought a kayfun lite plus and have been one happy vaper ever since!

For the kayfun lite plus are the tanks glass or plastic? I googled it and different versions of it came up lol

RSST is a good Genesis atty. I've built a zillion coils with all kinds of setups on it. Mesh, silica, cotton. Vertical, horizontal, micro etc. If you can catch them on sale somewhere you can pick one up for 15 bucks or so. It's pretty well made. My only whine is the plastic tank but you can get glass ones here and there. It's hard to mess a coil up on it. The wick hole is insulated and since the bottom and internals of the tank have no metal showing you can't touch your mesh to short it out. I don't use it as much as I used to since I started using my Zenesis attys but every now and then for nostalgias sake I'll build the RSST, put a tasty juice in it and go to town. A kayfun (and all it's many variants) is a completely different setup and vape. It's a bottom feeder so the coil and wick pretty much stay soaked in juice all the time. With a genesis style atty you pretty much have to use the "tilty method" to keep the wick good and wet depending on how long a toot you take. My favorite setup on any bottom feeder is 1.5 ohm microcoil with cotton at about 11 watts or so. OMG that is one flavorful thing. Really, really good. And kayfuns are easy as heck to build and do maintenance on.

RSST is really good looking genny and very easy to build, but there are some not that great things about it:

- bad flavor production, even with 1.6mm airhole
- it doesnt wick very well with cotton-so no chain vaping here; its much better with 500 ss mesh, but who still uses mesh?! I never really liked it, and that oxidizing process and hot spots. And SS isnt cheap either...
- top cap gets hot after a few drags
- center pin must be sanded down
- stock air hole is too small
- rubber plug for fill hole gets easily lost, using the last one out of three

I still use it everyday, but that mostly because i have "only" 3 rbas.

Get kayfun 3.1/lite+ clone and you will be thanking me ;)
