Smok Tech Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer

Hi,

In June I became curious because a few people I worked with had e cigs, and I was going out of town to visit family. I visited a store here (I've since learned that they don't have the best reputation) and didn't want to by a double kit, so I ended up with an ego clone, a smok Tech Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer which connects directly to the battery, and two juices, one tobaco and one cinnamon. It helped with my trip, but when i got back....the cinnamon was a bit strong and after a while I mixed some of the tobacco juice with it and didn't care for it at all. I put everything aside for a while, until I got some money and some time to play around.

Right now I have a few different clearomizers, and I bought a few more of the ST cartomizers, and I am playing around seeing what works best for me. I'm still figuring things out, but don't see any mention of the ST carts here. I've read not to use dual coil with ego batts, but these are made for egos. Can anyone tell me anything about these? I will add, I've tried them with more standard juices and don't really care for the taste, but they seem to taste fine with cinnamon because it has such a strong taste. I can see they might be useful for juices like this which aren't recommend with most clearos. Any thoughts?

And for what its worth, I'm not exactly trying to quit right now, but I've only smoked three analogs since Saturday. And even those three...it isn't really that I have the desire, it more that I have about a half a carton sitting around, so I figure I should at least finish the open pack...maybe smoke one a day.

I have been reading, and have found a lot of answers here, but I still have a lot of questions. I thought about making a long post with all my questions, but decided instead to just ask one question every day or so. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I'm not sure if the above cartomizers are what you are talking about. I used the above well over a year ago. At the time, I rather enjoyed them. They had a large juice capacity for a single stand-alone cartomizer - over 4 ml. I remember using coffee flavors in them. It took a while to get used to the large rubber whistle tip. About that time I also discovered pyrex cartotanks which I personally preferred and never went back to the large cartos.

I recently was going through my old vape gear and found one of these that had not been used. I primed it up and tried to vape it. Wouldn't happen. I realized then that these were low resistance dual-coil cartomizers, which I had long ago stopped using as I find them to be too harsh for me now. I've learned that I now prefer the smoother, cooler vape of standard resistance single coil cartomizers. I like the form factor of these large cartos for out & about, but unfortunately they are only offered in the dual-coil low resistance.

FYI...these are available in standard resistance. Aqua Vapor has them...2.5 ohms. Go to this page, and you can select either low or standard, single or 5 pack.

They are my "travel vape" choice. I juice up a handful of them, pack some small bottles for topping, and leave the mod and carto-tanks at home.

They are also what my wife uses. She doesn't have/want a mod (yet) and is capable of flooding tanked cartos (with her deep inhales) and so, paired with an eGo battery, they are what "works best" for her at the moment.
