What's your opinion on it just by the info and specs given about the device?
Smoktech.comHow about a link to a web site???
I do agree with you as far as performance, as far as price is concerned Smok Tech unfortunately won't drop it's price of $128.00 for the U.S. vendors to sell! U.S. vendors who buy the VMax from Smok Tech have a contract with them(Smok Tech) limiting U.S. vendors from dropping the price because of its(VMax) specs, functions, and power vs. the Provari! Hands down IMO PROVARI is the BEST VV mod on the market today, but everyone has their preference! I myself just purchased the Buzz Pro and I feel that it(Buzz Pro) is comprable to the Provari just without all the HIGH TECH digital stuff! Mike(Designer and Engineer of the Buzz Pro) is IMO one of the BEST VV mod engineers today! The VMAX does look very promising and is cheaper than the Provari! Trust me I will be picking up a VMax just because you, yourself can control your own voltage just like the Buzz Pro, iPro, and VVPV, which are all made by Mike at NotCigs! Thanks for your opinion. It looks like a nice VV mod, Provari knock off or not...and the specs look even better...very nice amp limit. Don't care if it's a 2 batt mod...it's not going to explode unless you don't know what you're doing. Great option for people that don't want to sink $200+ into a USA made metal tube with a Chinese boost circuit. I'm going to be waiting a few months for it to come down to 60 bucks and buy one to have something better than the LT because I can't (and never will be able to) afford a Provari.
I said it...now the people that have 2-4 Provaris can call me out.![]()

Actually I like both one you can regulate yourself(VMax) like the Buzz Pro and the other you can't(Provari)! But indeed the Provari is far way more expensive!Yeah, that's why I said I was going to wait. I'm sure in the future that contract will be thrown out and prices will drop. Just to be clear I'm not saying the Provari sucks by any means, just the price from my perspective....I would love to own one, just seems way too high of a markup for what the materials would cost to build one. They must have to put alot of labor into making it.
If Smoktech won't allow suppliers to sell the Vmax for less in the future then you would be alot better off paying the extra cash for a Provari imo.
It is a matter of preference and I don't know too much about the Darwin, but as far as the Provari is concerned as I've stated is HANDS down the BEST on the market! I will be recieving my Buzz Pro hopefully this week and I'm very excited about it! The VMax has both attributes as the Buzz Pro and Provari! IMO there is really nothing wrong with a stacked device because it depends on the owner who uses it! Thank you for your input!Everyone has an opinion and a preference..... Mine is that the Darwin (power regulated) and the Provari (voltage regulated) are the top-of-the-line non-mechanical PV's right now.....There are alot of other Variable Voltage PV's out there in which you could compare features with the Provari......there are no PV's that function like the Power regulated Darwin.....except a Kick'd mechanical PV.....
And, for me, any PV with a stacked battery tube configuration is not exceptable to me......just my preference....
Hahaha...LOL! You and I both!I think the price is going to come down on a lot of mods. The market is just going to be absolutely saturated. Best bet is to close your eyes for about 6 months and then come back and see what's happened... Yeah, right. I'm going to end up doubling my pv collection.
For the VMax to have both attributes of the Buzz Pro and Provari, trust me it will!theres a pretty good thread on this in the Provape sub forum which gets a little heated, but imo all the debate aside, i look forward to more innovation in general, and this brings up the topic of different high end techno devices which is what it's all about in the larger picture.
I hope it fuels fire for more and better devices.

True that!Haha, that's what I did for the past 11 months! Things are looking up!
It's fun to be a part of something in it's infancy. We all know vaping is not gonna go away.
The specs are PHENOMONAL and user regulating voltage, you can't go wrong! The specs are pretty good, but i'll probably wait until the device has been out and proven before I pick one up... There's also the new higher amp lavatube that should be coming out this summer as well. For now, I ordered a SS Lavatube from apollo, and figure I'll use that, and if this device is as good as it's specs, I'll probably pick either a new lava tube or the vmax up when it comes... I'd almost guarantee that the price will come down once the new lavatube comes out, unless smoktech and l-rider are doing some price fixing... Should be an interesting summer for VV mods...
Do you happen to have any backing for this statement?Great option for people that don't want to sink $200+ into a USA made metal tube with a Chinese boost circuit.
