i just pre-ordered the ni coils for it from fast tech, 5 packs for $18 and some change, they have two versions of ni coils a regular that we are used to and a airy version they call..from what i read it has some new feature in the coil that allows more air into the coil to cool the vape..i just ordered the regular version two 5 packers..says they get released in 10 days..

I had the chance to vape the TFV4 at 100 watts in Houston. I immediately wanted it, but the shop owner didn't have any in stock ( I hate when they do that! LOL ) I watched some reviews, and even though I was absolutely blown away by the vapor and flavor at 100 watts on a triple coil I was talked into the Crown tank. Great tank as far as build quality. .5 ohm stainless coils took me at least two tanks to break in. The .25 stainless coils were much better and they do deliver a nice vape at 40-60 watts for me.

But honestly, comparing the Crown to the Subtank mini with vertical coils... I dunno, I have never had a single dry hit or funny taste from the new coils in a subtank... The Crown was good, but the flavor did not blow my socks off like the TFV4.

The TFV4 is in the mail with a back of triple coils. I cant say its a game changer yet... but its been the most impressive vape I have had from a pre built sub ohm coil to date... nothing else has come close.

Is this the tank that will start a movement of cloud chasing tanks? I'm talking like RDA sub ohming. What are your guy's opinions?
if they fix the bottom o-rings issue people have, offer another layer of cooling options.. it is the tank to OWN

the coil selection and size is already GAME CHANGING, the premades and rba sections dwarfs any subohm tank on the market

I haven't tried the TFV4 but honestly I don't see it pulling SIGNIFICANTLY more juice than my Crown tank does with the 0.25 coil in it.
Dual coil builds on the dual deck RBA consume an outrageous amount of juice. It is at the point where I am using the single deck these days just to save on juice. These newer sub-ohm clearos are definitely closing the gap. But is the TFV4 a game changer? Almost. While the dual deck is large for an RTA, it still cannot compare with the decks of your typical RDA. Had the TFV4 been released with a dual deck with dual posts like the Cthulu V2 or a dual centerpost like the CCI Triforce and allowed for a bottom feed option, then I may have considered it a game changer. As of this post, it may the closest thing there is to one currently available for mass consumption.

I don't care what anyone else says.. as of right now I would say it's definitely a game changer in the sub-ohm tank department. There are crazy different option to build on and pre built coils are amazing. I've tried all the other latest and greatest ones, Uwell's Crown, Sauce Code, etc.. nothing can really hold a light to this thing. You can literally vape it at 100 watts and the mouth piece is as cool as a cucumber because of its innovative design. Every time I'm using my SMOK TFV4 tank I honestly feel as if I'm using an RDA. The clouds from it are so dense and huge, so vapor production is right on point with any of the RDA's out there.. and flavor? Flavor is amazing on this thing. There is no way I'd consider buying any other tank right now because this is simply the best it gets.. The only con I'd say is how much juice it consumes so be ready for that, BUT also keep in mind it's so easy to refill and has a 5ml tank capacity, so it's not that bad. SMOK hit a home run with this one and I think it will remain on top for quite sometime. I've literally taking videos of me using several different RDA's to compare vapor production to the SMOK TFV4 and the TFV4 produces the same amount of clouds if not more then most of my sub-ohm builds. I typically use a .2 ohm atty around 80 watts.

I can barely trap twisted 0.5mm Ti under the tiny screws on the dual deck. If only they designed it with completely separate traps per leg vs. one side of a screw per leg...

100w may be cool if your set temps hover under 400 F. But I like my NETs around 480-500 F. At those temps, the drip tip does get hot, even with its airflow slots wide open and particularly on a long draw.

What coil are you using? I usually keep my tri-coil around 80 watts and my quad around there as well, but it can go higher.
