smok TFV4 RBA burnt cotton after 6th tank??

I just switched over from a kanger top tank mini to smok TFV4. I am using the mod from the top box mini kit 75w. From reading I know the TFV4 prebuilt coils run well into the 80+ watts range. I only have 75w available so I decided to try the RBA deck instead.

I wicked the RBA deck and it worked flawlessly. Getting good flavor around 60-70w. Went through the first tank very quickly. All is well but on my second day about my 6th or 7th tank I am starting to get a burnt taste. I've been vaping around 60w.

After the burnt taste I tried closing the air holes and suck on it without firing. I got bubbles so I am guessing that the wick is not taking up juice.

My question, the RBA was working very well until the 6th tank why did it just suddenly not taking up juice properly?? I'm using 50/50 vg/pg juice.

I may have found the problem after reading through the forum. I may have overfilled the tank causing the tank to have no air and too much vacuum in the tank. The juice couldnt flow into the wick properly. Now it's working again.

I find when I build (depending on the tank) I get to know what to expect. My STM I need to change the cotton every couple of days because of my juice, it gunks it up to much. I still have tanks to figure out, but once I do it's a sweet vape.

Yeah, I was gonna say you are doing good! I'm lucky to get three tankfuls out of my tfv4/juice set up before I have to rewick it.

Just an update my RBA is working quite well now I just need to fill up to the bottom of the chimney(about 2/3 up the tank).

I will be changing back to my toptank for my daily because I cant seem to get a good balance between vapor and flavour. If I use high power good flavour but too much vapor and it uses too much juice. The TFV4 is known for using up juice. I get 2-3 hits and i'm done. Cant really chain vape like the top tank.
