the tfv4 has a wide selection of coils.

Be advised that you will likely find your coils don't last as long as you expected before you need to change them.

You will end up using the rba heads instead of buying new coils all the time.

juice consumption is directly related to wattage.
high wattage coils will burn more juice.

The single rba for the TFV4 will reduce the juice consumption. I felt like it was like a more airy Subtank, which would be good for straight lung hits. I preferred the Clapton rba as it has a an airflow reducer (I am a mouth to lung vape). I've heard the dual coil rba is nice so I am planning to try it next.

I DIY so the juice consumption of the triple coils and dual claptons I use aren't much of an issue for me.

@Sir2fyablyNutz For me, the triple coil lasted maybe a month of on and off road usage. As road usage + dripping do not mix.
The dual RBA is nice on the TFV4, however there is a fine line between the right coil, wicking, and desired outcome. As in, good flow equates to leakage for me. At the same time though when you get it right, it's awesome.

OP,
Take a look at the TFV4 Backup Kit (shorty). It only fits the TFV4 Mini but it shrinks it's size by 10%; however, it does increase juice capacity by 14%. It also comes with a higher ohm resistance coil which could help with juice consumption and a low resistance coil for "clouds". Take in mind, if you're just trying to have a cloud machine you're going to burn through juice fast, period.

I exclusively use the quad coils in my tfv4. It guzzles juice like crazy, but going through 15 or so ml a day of juice, i still get at least two weeks out of coils, my average is around 3 weeks, and I have had one last me 5 weeks. I use a juice that is basically crystal clear. Based on how long the coils last for me, I haven't really found any need to go to the RBA decks. Spending 3.50 every couple weeks on coils isn't that big a deal. I spend more than that on beer. The only time I have gotten less than two weeks out of a coil was when I was an idiot and didn't pay attention and vaped the tank dry and kept going and burned the cotton after 4 days. Totally my fault, so I don't count that one into my average.

As for cutting down on juice consumption, the tfv4 is kind of a bad tank to try. It is made to be a high powered, low ohm device. That pretty much always results in a lot of juice being used. If you are really concerned about it, you can try building a high ohm coil on the single rba deck and see what happens.

I recently had a thread similar to this:
SMOK TFV4 - Daily vaping?
Feel free to look through my thought process.

tl;dr The TFV4 will suck juice down no matter what, that's the cost of subohm vaping, so I would suggest buying your juice in bulk if you're going to use this daily. However, using an RBA Single or Dual will allow a lot more customization, also save you quite a bit of money!

FWIW, I have used the TFV4 with the factory Ni Air coils and I didn't think the juice consumption was all that bad. The Ni coil is a dual coil so it would certainly go through less juice than the triples or the quads. With the TC, you are also using it at lower wattages as well.

I'm just so criminally insane about this tank, 1.5 ohm air coil is really good with lowering juice consumption at 31.1 watts and the battery in the xcube mini lasts 3/4 a day if you use it all of the time. I disagree with the coils not lasting, because they last for a couple weeks with this setup anyway. I still can't figure out how to keep the lid shut while carrying the whole thing in my jacket. It's mostly only popping open because of the bent mouthpeice, but I'd like it to stay shut when I close it
