Got my x cube in Monday, loving it. Gotta get some titanium wire for tc builds but Kanthal builds are working fantastically. The Bluetooth let's you moniter things like rough GPS on where you've vaped, keeps a log of each puff you've taken(including puff length and time it was taken,) adjust the led more easily on the fire bar, set up value intervals. The intervals are interesting because you can start it at high and then lower the power each second. I have one set up for my subtank mini at 40w first second, 30w second second, 25w third second, and the 22.5 w from the fourth second till cut off (which is twelve seconds on this mod. I may be doing a full vid review of each feature soon as I've noticed the pre released features leave a lot to the imagination

I got mine on Monday. I love it so far as it is my first 50+ watt mod. The only real problem I have is that you almost need to have the gimmicky app on to keep recording the vape information. I wish that they would change that. I hear on several other forums that the magnets on the door seem kinda week. There are 2 and clips on the door locking it in place. It really seems fine.

The other thing that I noticed.... Why have a mini-usb connection for updated if they don't even have a driver so you can connect it to your computer?

Got my Cube II a few days ago. Overall, I really like it...but my fire button is very stiff and even sticking from time to time (auto-fire). Not happy about that at all.

I contacted the vendor (VaporDNA) and they are willing to refund my money because they are currently out of stock. Before I return it, does anyone here have a quick-fix to make the button bar less sticky??

I saw this problem on several other places. The solution is, figure out where it is sticking. If it's on the top or bottom. There is a set of hex screws on both sides. Just loosen the ones on the top if it's on top or tighten them up a little bit on the bottom if it's the bottom. Try it and see if that works. Occasionally they come where the screws are too loose or to tight, you can almost look at it and see which it is. I notice that if you press the bottom a lot that the bottom just sticks because it is cockeyed.

Genius!! :)

I'm going to try this as soon as I go home for lunch. Sounds like it should work a treat.

OK, so I loosened up the hex screws a little bit. It helped with the top, but the bottom is still sticky. I'm gonna use it for a few days and see if she loosens up before I decide to send it back or not.

I took the whole button assemble out (easy-peasy), but did not remove the button from it's mounting "rail"....I wonder if it would be a good idea to get in there with some sandpaper or something....probably not. :)

I did notice that the top plate is bent down just a tiny bit over the top of the button...maybe I could remove the top plate and straighten it out...???

Thanks for the tip!

just a heads up - there is a firmware upgrade available for the x cube 2 - version 1.08 / guide and walkthrough here, with links to app needed for upgrade and the actual firmware .hex file... used this walkthrough and had no issues with update - would suggest reading through it at least once before you pull the trigger, though (and check your current firmware version - mine was running 1.05)

You were actually able to update your firmeware using their Guide? I haven't even been able to have my device detected via USB...

Their guide says to power the device off, remove the batteries and then hold the "Vaping-Key" (I assume that means the firing button) and plug in the USB Cable and hit Connect in the Update app. For me, nothing happens... no device detected.

yeah - I just held down the firing bar, plugged in the cable - as I recall, it may have detected the device automatically but I hit the connect button just to be on the safe side... may want to try another cable, make sure it supports data transfer, not just charging?

Thanks for that - I've tried 5 different cables so far and confirmed at least 2 of those do work for data transfer as I connected my Android phone with them to my PC and it pops up. o_O

I'll keep trying I guess... I hope I don't have a lemon.
