What's up fellow vapers?

Today I hot my hands on a smok X Cube 2, man this thing is nice. 160w Temp Control, VW, and Bluetooth. Yes, Bluetooth.... it's used for an app on Android and IOs. It gives temp, watts, number of puffs taken, how long each puff was ect. Anyways, I'm not sure how accurate the app is but I have this thing set to 160w yet on each hit I'm not getting any higher than 75w. Still chucking the clouds.

Right now I have my royal hunter rda with a dual Macro set up, Kanthol 26 Guage at 0.47ohms.

Anyone know what might be going on?

Greetings and welcome @MorbidPleasure I don't have a Smok X Cube 2 but I have seen threads for it you may want to use the search function and see if you can find them. Not sure but if you set it to 160w it should put out that amount, unless you are in temperature control mode. Temperature control does not work with Kanthal - Nickel or Titanium only.

How does it cook steak? that sounds good right about now... :)

The device probably has an amp limit. On some TC mods, the higher wattages are only for the temperature control wires, and the lower ohms.

Just punched in those numbers in ohms law calculator... you're putting almost 6 volts into those coils... you trying to start a fire in your atomizer? I bet it's real warm in there. :) Perhaps it limits the voltage to 6 when using non TC wire.

It's an Efest I'm 3.7v li-MN 35A High Drain.
While 30A ones are just fine, 35A have a lot worse discharge rate than 30A version apparently. They have surprisingly bad reviews so I'd recommend to swap them. Regarding the 160W - I believe you'll have to drop down the ohms a bit to reach that 160 as I think you're reaching volts capacity at (as you mentioned) 75W. So your watts will go up (on the screen) but you'll notice volts staying in place. That's a bit of a guess but when I got my hands on a 100W device I encountered the same thing. Oh well, the more you know.

This thing is nice. Thanks for the replies. Now have this thing at maximum capacity. With 0.18 ohm quad coil setup. Straight CHUCKING.

Edit: sorry I forgot to put a price lol. $70 on Fluid Vapes.

Hey guys.. I just signed up so I can't make a topic. I'm having trouble unlocking titanium mode with the x cube 2. I enter my mastercard info and it says they don't accept this payment type. Has anyone else had this problem?

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't realize I could post a new topic in the New Members forum.. Please disregard this message.
