is anyone looking forward to this new mod or is there anything about it to get excited about? goes for about $89

SMOK® X CUBE Ⅱ - Vaporizer Mod

seems to come in two versions one with temp control activated and one with not..also has a phone app program for it and 4.0 bluetooth technology, not excited about the buttons being on top near the tank instead of the side

After all the issues with the Smok m50/m65 and the m80, I would not trust any temperature control mod made by Smok until I hear LOTS of good things here first. There's plenty of good mods out there; no reason to buy the lousy ones.

I have an M80 that I have been very happy with. I am not using the Temp mode so I don't have the technical issues that many have mentioned.
The new X Cube I believe has a Memory mode where you can preset up to 16? settings. This feature sounds very appealing. I always thought the wattage cycling through at 1/10 of a watt was silly. Why don't more makers design mods that cycle through at 1 watt per click?

What issues did you have with the m80? I have had it and used everyday now for a month with no issues

I also have an m80 & an m22. I extremely happy with both. Great build quality.

The m80 temp control issues were in an earlier firmware.

I've had mine for 2 months and it was 4 versions of the firmware past the buggy temp control version when I bought it.

I haven't used the temp control on it yet (so I can't really say), but I'm planning on picking up a Smok TCT soon to try it out.

That being said, I like flashy light too.

Temp contorl works great for me..i have version 007.. i know it works grest because I have some really strong juice 24mg and i can only sub ohm it on temp control mode around 500F.. if i try regular mode around 40 watts it tears my throaht up..even at 30 watts i cant do it..so for me i love temp control

I'm with ya there, I was anti kanger before the subohm tanks cause of all the leaking issues then they totally redeemed themselves with the subtank, hopefully this is smoks redemption

My m80 died on me. Waiting for Smok to send me a new one. Thank God!! Hope I get the new one with real temp control! But I'm going to
Wait for better feedback before jumping I to this mod.
How long did you have your M80 before it died? I have had mine now for about 2 weeks with no problems. I hope it holds up. For a 80watt device, it sells at a good price.

been using my m80 for 5 weeks now every day and no problems
Me too... Plugged it in one night, woke up didn't turn on. It's my favorite mod. Serioulsy and it's not even that expensive. I love the temp control on it. Kanthal and everything. I got nothing bad to say about it. I wish I knew what went wrong. I got to wait a while for my new one, .... I'm so impatient. I heard they got a new version with ''real'' temp control on it coming out. It's on they're website. They even named the mother board!
