Was just curious about what costs you may have had to pay on the 2nd one to get the TC Modes activated.

I noticed on my 1st XCube 2 that there was a 2.99 fee for "Active Temp Control" and then a 0.49 cent and 0.99 cent price for Ti and SS....

Now this morning after updating my 2nd XCube to the newest 1.093 firmware, I go to the Vapor Upgradation part of the smok BEC App and this time there wasnt any 2.99 fee, but I had to pay again for SS and Ti Temp Control Modes.... So I guess the 2.99 is just an initial fee thats tied to your smok Account but for each additional box you have to still pay for SS and TI modes.

Total cost was $4.50 for the 1st XCube and 2nd one cost me $1.50 to activate all the TC modes.

Kind of confusing, I was hoping that I wouldnt have to pay anything for the 2nd XCube but at least it is a little bit cheaper this time around...

Also was happy that the newest BEC App worked without any issues, after hearing about so many others having problems with the latest Android versions...

But yeah let me know your experience if you have multiple XCubes what it did for you when you went about activating the TC modes for a 2nd time.

Thanks

Thats odd. Yeah I seem to recall another fee other than the TI and SS... perhaps Im mistaken though, have to check to be 100% sure.

Still a great value regardless of the 4.50 I think I paid back in October or the 1.50 I just paid recently. I dont even know if there are other mods out there that can do the SS Temp Control like the XCube is capable of. I know most TC Mods mainly do TI and NI and I believe only a handful do SS TC....(at least that was the case a month or two ago when I started researching TC Mods)

The last 4-5 weeks have seen a handful more and there's a metric ton of them about to drop for the year end product rollouts. SS is here to stay. :)

It's the user adjustable TCR that hits a middle ground between the high end SX and DNAs, and everything else.
Besides the SMOK/Koopers... I'm not sure who else has that feature.
Hoping that becomes common too.

No, the firmware upgrades are free.
On this mod alone. SMOK charges to add Ti and SS TC to the stock mod, which is VW and Ni TC only.

On the Kooper 200w, Treebox and xCube 75w Mini, all three TC modes are free, however...

My impression is that, for now, the firmware updates for the Kooper 200w aren't available for download.
There's some janky procedure to have vendors do the updates.
Maybe.
It's a bit confusing at the moment. Can't recommend the Kooper Plus if it's true.
