There is only one way to pronounce it if we are being language pedants, and it's not smoke, obviously.
It could be smowk(e), but either way I'm not fussed.
Maybe Kanger should have called themselves Wanger-Tech. That could have been good.
A Wanger is of course a sort of cushion. Unless we are talking slang then who knows.
The joys of language. I do like the Chinese (I really do, and visit often) but many a disaster has been created in translation.
My favorite is "cash recycling machine" (for all your laundering needs) and "You must be accompanied by children on the escalator".... which is tricky if you left the children at the hotel.
