I've been smoking my njoy now for about a week and am enjoying it. I was wondering if anyone has used a Smoke 51 e-cig yet. I like the idea that every cart comes w/ a new atomizer. However I am wondering about the quality of the atomizer.

This reminds me of when "Focus" created a "daily" contact lense that was meant to be worn for one day then tossed . Well I jumped on the idea of having a fresh pair of contacts every day or so. However the contacts were thin, uncomfortable and difficult to take out of my eyes. I used my pack (6 mo worth) went back to my two week disposables. Lesson learned.

So if the atomizer is low quality then it kinda defeats the purpose of replacing it w/ every new cart.

Thanks in advance,

CJ

well, its basically a loongtotem with a different name...

a few forum members have bought them, and they are a good idea, but currently far too expensive and lacking in flavour and bite...and the batteries are a rip off...

im looking forward to a good quality disposable cart/atomiser,which is affordable...e-cig.com have a cheaper version...some forum members have ordered it...im waiting for their reviews...

so if i were you,id wait until better, cheaper versions come out...

by the way,i wear focus daily disposables, and i love them-i have no problems with them.

The 51 was my first e cig, it was a good enough experience to know vaping was a good thing and I wanted to invest more into e-cigs and vaping. I purchased 13 packs of carts and never had a bad atty or a flavor issue I really like the 51 flavors. The 51 is my retired back up e cig I moved on to a penstyle (KB) that fits me better..The cost of the carts for the 51 was a deciding factor for me. Have more flexibility with the penstyle dripping.

Well Smoke 51 was my first intro to e-cigs too but I can't say that it was a wonderful experience for me. They were OKAY but I still wanted to smoke and considered it a novelty item. I kept ending up with goo in the mouth too - YUCK! Within just a couple weeks the batteries would no longer charge AT ALL. I went back to the kiosk and the same dude is there but no longer selling Smoke 51 brand but a newer Smoke Anywhere version that was not compatible and no longer had atomizer in each cartidge (Still WAY overpriced tho).

Dude had told me a year warranty when I purchased....anything happens bring it back. When I show up with a problem his tune is WAY different. First he has no more Smoke 51 stuff except this one drawer which looked like a jumble of display or returned stuff. He dug around and found chargers and batteries. He confirmed my batteries would not take a charge but my charger was fine. He found 4 batteries in the drawer and said all he could do was offer me those batteries and a charger in case that was part of the problem. Take all the crap home and NONE of the batteries he gave me would charge between 2 chargers and now 6 batteries - NOTHING WORKED! I was bitter cuz I KNEW on the way home those loose batteries were other people's returns... I went out to buy cigs!!! Emailed company about in warranty replacement and was told to pay $12.95 "processing fee" for replacements since I bought from a kiosk and not their website...

My sister actually ordered a Smoke 51 from the site after seeing mine (while it worked) and she thought it ok though also complained about goo in the mouth! Hers still works though she is still sneaking smokes here n there since it just doesn't seem to totally work for her.

Anyhow, flash forward and a friend tells me about Intellicig from UK they ordered from vaporsdelight.com. I'm seriously trying to get off cigs at that point so I order one and in a couple days it arrives - batteries PRE-CHARGED! I actually liked that one and still have it as my in public, back up unit. It was easy to top up cartridges with that one too compared to Smoke 51.

I still kept feeling the urge to cheat too!!! Sneaking a smoke here and there.

Then I found this forum!!! Ordered a screwdriver fell in love! Have not picked up a cig since the day my screwdriver arrived.

Now I'm hooked on reading this forum and dreaming of trying all these other models, juices, etc. I'm so thankful though for the screwdriver since it got me off the cigs!! Now I want to try a 510 cuz I read all the raves! I'm so hooked but I'm lowering my nicotine levels too, yeah!

My sister bought the Intellicig too and she prefers it over the Smoke 51 but is using both. Still sneaking smokes... I've told her please don't let the little minis be the only e-cig you try cuz once you find what works for you it's very easy to put down the cigs!

Good luck and if you buy Smoke 51 I would also beg that it not be the only e-cig you try either... I think for heavier smokers it takes MORE than the little teeny mini things to get off the cigs!!! I hope you do too!

I started with a Joye 510 but a friend of mine just got a Smoke 51 trio as a gift and let me try it for a while - yuck if I started with that I naver would have switched from my 2 1/2 pack a day to that. As it is I like the 510 but it does need help , leaky fussy thing but better then analog for me.
I like the looks of the Silver bullet, I may try it soon.
So yes - don't let the 51 be the only one you try.

Your mom said not to say...
You know one common theme I see among all the people that try these crappy outfits like that and get either a crappy product, ripped off or both. People get suckered into those free trials and sign up for the monthly deliveries and find that it is nowhere near enough supplies for a month and that it's way cheaper to do it on your own. It happens to two types of people it seems. The person who saw one at the mall and decided to spend the outrageous over price that these clowns charge for inferior products because they didn't know any better and it was an impulse buy. A good idea for wanting to give these a shot for sure, just poor execution by buying it from the mall. The other type is the one who saw it online or did a quick google search and found a place like here and instead of doing a little bit of research and then asking around, chances are they just asked for some recommendations and went with the popular choice. As we all know that may not always be the best choice for that person but you learn as you go along.

The people I see that are the most satisfied with their initial purchase are the ones who spend the time doing the research so they know what they are talking about when they do ask the questions that are in their head about them. Knowing the little differences between the model can help you choose the model best suited to YOUR needs, not other peoples. Just a little something to think about.

I ordered a Smoke51 trio from a web ad, I was not familiar with ecigs prior to this. I received the kit and tried it, very little vapor at best, most times I got no vapor whatso ever. I decided it's not for me so I requested a RMA number almost 2 weeks ago and still have not received it. I sent another request and got an email back stating that additional emails push you back to the bottom of the list. I found another email address to cancel my VIP member ship and received an email back stating they extended my trial period by 7 days. I found a phone number from my bank statement and tried calling only to get a recorded message with email addresses. I am still waiting for a RMA, I want my money back, per there written guarantee. I would never deal with this company again or recommend them to anyone.

I too started out with the Smoke 51, purchased at a kiosk in the mall. It worked "OK" for a while, and I even was refilling cartomizers with some limited success. Then one of my batteries went t!ts-up, and the kiosk had vanished from the mall. At that point, I did what I should have done in the first place, and consulted the web. Based on what I learned, mostly right here, I got myself a 510 system, and have been cigarette-free since it arrived just over 4 weeks ago. Just last week, I got a VaporKing system for my wife. She prefers the simplicity of a two-piece system, while I on the other hand, sort of enjoy the tinkering and maintenence that the 510 requires. Either way, the Smoke 51 experience was a rather expensive lesson, but prior to that I had had no exposure to e-cigarettes. So I guess it was worthwhile in that regard.

CJ

I went with a Red Dragon as my first model when I started vaping a couple of weeks ago, and my girlfriend a Green Smoke, both of which use the "cartomizer". We have yet to have one fail after going through about 20 carts between us, and we're even refilling now and they're still plugging away.

Honestly, after opening up a cart and seeing what it's comprised of, versus pics I've seen of the seperate atomizer type, I would expect it to not be as reliable........but I can't say that's been the case thus far.

I purchased a Smoke 51 Duo starter kit quite some time ago. I myself have some mixed feelings on it.

For one, the flavor of the carts are ****ty, but better than an analog I guess. My girlfriend hates the smell of it worse then real smoke. ugh

Anyway, I think the batteries are fine. Mine are holding up fine. I even accidentally put one through the washer and it still works.

Now, with that said I do need some help. I can no longer find the cartomizers for a good price. So I need a new way to vape.

Now aren't my batteries the same as the 501? Is there a set of atomizers, carts, and liquid that would work on my Smoke 51 duos? Where would you suggest I get them?

Or should I just buy a new starter kit from Joye?

Thanks!
