I started out with the Smoke 51. One tip I can give is, don't screw the cartomizers on all the way. Unscrew it, just barely, to let some air in. It'll make the hit less harsh and won't burn out your atomizer so quickly. The attys do burn out, though, and I know I'm done when I get a burned, acrid taste with a buttload of vapor. Well, actually, that's not vapor, that's outright smoke from the burning cartomizer. Not good.

I switched to the Titan 510 a few days ago, and I like it. Tastes better, and it's not such a hard pull.

Hi everyone!

I am new to the ECF and I love it! Already feel like "coming home".

I started with a Smoke51 battery with cartomizers. I loved the taste, but the batteries are just crap. After hours of reading in this forum I bought a Tornado with a 510 atomizer, several liquids (lol, like 30 differents) and I am analog free for almost 3 weeks!

Not bad for a 2+ packs a day smoker I guess. I know I would have never made it with the smoke51, so thanks everybody for sharing your knowledge and tips.

Since I am surrounded with a lot of Smoke51 cartomizers, I was wondering if there are any better compatible batteries on the market. I have heard that the KR-808-D1 (or2?) should work with the Smoke51 cartomizers. Can anyone confirm that?

Also, just an adapter for the Janty EGo / TW Tornado would be even better. Is that available somewhere?

Thanks for any help!

hey man, the smoke 51's battery will flash red when u plug it in, but the LED on the battery won't change green, there should be a light on ur charger that turns green. and the cartridges are pathetic too. some can last you a full day, others might last you 2 hits. beware about smoke 51, they don't like there customers.

mine is a trio but for what it's worth mine said the same thing with the charger in reality the light on the chager shows green anytime it's plugged in. When I screw in the cig the led on cig flashes a few times then remains lit during charge. When charge is complete the led on cig goes out it doesn't change color on mine. And I'd suggest cancelling the auto shipment of carts and ordering them elsewhere and either notifying credit card company that you haven't authorized further charges or watching your account closely. There's a lot of horror stories about multiple outrageous charges for shoddy products or products never recieved.
