The other day I was just vaping away then all of a sudden my mod kept saying ohm to low over and over again. So I did the usual turn it off take out the battery’s turn back in put in new battery’s etc etc then it started to register new tanks but the ohm readings where really off bad problem in my books sadly this mod isn’t even a year old I’ve opened it up to make sure the 510 springs was centered everything is fine. Anybody come up with a solution

Don't know if this applies to your particular situation or not, but something to look into at least, perhaps. On my AL85, and presumably the full-sized Alien mod as well, if you switch tanks while the screen is off, it won't register that you've changed anything. It "thinks" it still has the old one attached, and then when it gets readings that do not match up with what is expected, it gives the error message. Try clicking the button to make sure the screen is on, then, while it's still on, remove the tank and reattach it, then click the fire button one more time to get the "new/old" question, and tell it it's a new atomizer. That has fixed all the problems I've had with weird ohm readings, at least...

My Alien was lost in the mail while on its way back to have it replaced with a new one.
I'm hoping that USPS comes back with ( Can't Find It ),,,,, I'll take the 50 dollar insurance,, lose 17 bucks, and call it a day.
I'm not liking the Smok mods too much. Thought I'd like the lever/fire button, BUT NAHHH..
The whole high wattage and not simple to use controls are not for me..

It gives a great flavor.... Nice cloud......The 1650 mAh battery lasts me 5 hours of chain vaping.
Important to have the coil tightened down so no accidents happen when re-filing with a little juice left in the tank.
My only issue is,,,, I Can't figure out how to rebuild a coil into this that works like the .3 ohm stock ones. I've tried everything.. Parallel 28ga. ,,Parallel 26ga. ,, Kanthal, Nichrome, SS, (Parallel .5 ohm NR-R-NR welded).... Nothing seems to work,,, WTF..
BUT,, I haven't given up yet. I have .28 ohm Notch coils coming in soon... LOL
