Perfect lazy day, no one else home, warm (barely)... I was actually pretty nervous, I think this was my 3rd for 4th try. I was thinking that the neighbors back behind were going to wonder what I was doing

People are equally as relaxed in NJ. Where will you be? You did a great job with your video -- I wouldn't worry about the neighbors.

and I realized after I posted that my tone that I was thinking my question in wouldn't have come across... I almost picked California Dreamin' for the background music, but then changed my mind I'm going to be in the Ocean Grove / Neptune / Highland area in New Jersey. We're staying in Neptune, and will be working in the Highland or Ocean Grove area - not to sure on those specific details. I'm coming back with a group that will be there for 2 weeks working with "A Future With Hope" and helping with house rebuilding from Hurricane Sandy damage.

You'll be a hop, skip and jump away from me. Atlantic Highlands and Ocean Grove are right along the shore. I'm just south of Ocean Grove in Spring Lake (between Belmar and Manasquan). So nice you're helping with restoration!! This is a UMC initiative, correct?
Wow! I'm getting excited about the trip - I've never been anyplace on the East Coast before. Yes, this is an UMC initiative! The group I'm going with is being organized by one of the large UMC's in my area. They plan a trip every year, but I hadn't been able to for awhile. The last trip I made with them was to Biloxi, MS, the year after Katrina.

You will be welcomed with open arms. There are still a lot of areas along the shore that have yet to recover. Such a wonderful thing you are doing...truly.
