I just purchased the Smoke 51 Duo system in the USA. Dadeland Mall in Miami to be exact. As I live in Canada I decided to buy extra cartomizers ( 8 packages ). Now in Canada I find that on average 1 out of 5 actually work so for 40 I get 4. Smoking cigarettes is cheaper (even in Canada!). The cartridges are the Smoke 51 ones (product of Vapor Corp.)

Very disappointing. I have contacted Smoke 51 and have no response.

I don't have any personal experience with the Smoke 51's, but from everything I've read "mall kiosk" type e-cigs are generally not the greatest things out there. They are not always dependable, and are often way over-priced compared to much better (and more dependable) products you can order online.

Do some reading here on ECF, ask some questions, and you'll be surprised the support you get from the forum members here. If we know a little more about your smoking habits (how much, how long), we can usually help you find an affordable e-cig you will be much happier with.

Thank you. I guess i learned a little too late. I guess what I am really disappointed about is the lack of response from Smoke 51 as ultimately this is their product.

In four to 6 days I will be finished these working cartomizers and be back smoking.

Aw don't give up! There are some really good pv's out there that are pretty inexpensive ($30-50 USD). Take a look at these videos made by MistressNomad on how to get started for under $80. There really are quite a few reputable vendors online (take a look at the Vendor sub-forums here on ECF).

If you live in Canada, check out Happy Vaper - Canada Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid, DIY Concentrated Flavorings!. Jack has quite a bit of stuff or you can try epuff.com. Both companies are from Canada.

Or, when you like something from the states and the supplier doesnt ship to canada, www.shiptotheborder.com. You can order anything from the states and have it ship close to the border. You go pick up your package for 5 dollars and thats it.

Smoke 51 is a rip-off rebrander that rebrands the Chinese wholesaler models E9 and Trio and then charges people prices like $50 for a spare battery (when batteries for other ecigs generally cost $15 or less and they probably pay under $10 for the ones they sell)

Here under E9 are the other rebrander models that should be compatible with your Smoke 51 Duo - perhaps one of them will have more reliable or cheaper cartos.

This is the brand the local stores carried for a bit.. Before i pulled the pin and ordered online I was talking to most of the managers of those stores.. To a person all said they quit carrying the 51's because of poor customer service and lots of returns for various malfunctions.

i bought a fifty one duo from the local smoke shop just to hold me over until i got my order from nhaler and i must say that the fifty one duo blew me away.i have been vaping for over a year now and i have to say out of all the different mods and ecigs i purchase the duo is the best.i think a lot of people over looked this one.
